They make microscopic GoPros and they attach one to a spider's head.. and we get a documentary about a spiders day to day life. Them having sex. Sleeping. Crawling across ceilings freaking people out.

Well, they can attach micro cameras to ants and go into ant hives for an intimate look into how they live and work, so, yeah. They already have this.

I agree. I already acknowledge the high possibility of microbic life somewhere beyond Earth. It would be a confirmation. Intelligent life though, that's more thrilling. But not sure I'm eager to encounter it (would obviously depend on the details)
