    Hey.

I've got this really bad habit of joining up to shitty forums. I hope this isn't one of them. I'd be lying if I said I'd love to get to know you all, but anything's got to be better than studying for my exams which are coming up in about a month. Right?

    Peaaaace.

anything has got to be better than responding to shitty posts

this forum is pretty cool. I'm not much of a forum joiner, but I was a lurker here for years and thought most of the people were pretty intelligient and had some good things to say, so I joined.

I feel like most of the people on here I would be friends with in real life, and thats really saying something considering most of the people I come across on the internet I think are total idiots.

    anywho, welcome.

    no problem.

for what it's worth, forums are difficult to begin with because you often get ignored - but if you stick with it, build up a post count and accumulate a rapport with those on the boards you will find it is a very rewarding past time.

you meet the better half of the internet, like melai basically said.

On this day in 1865 U.S. President Abraham Lincoln's funeral train left Washington.

Cool fact. Isn't he the bloke who got asassinated while watching a play/something like that? I'm not very well versed in American history.

he is indeed that bloke. he ended slavery, started the civil war, got assasinated, wore tall hats and had a cool beard.

    where do you live?

edit: thats probably a stupid question. I'm guessing somewhere in the UK, judging by the use of the word bloke.

Haha, so I guess the world consists only of the US and the UK. I'm kidding, kidding. Yeah, I'm from the UK.

@The Imaginary Being, I've always wondered why the Welsh are known as sheep shaggers. I just got back from a Biology trip to Abergavenny and I thought the peoplez there were alright. I didn't see any sheep shagging, anyway. xD

Wow, I was right. Thanks, heh. :D

fun fact - there are more sheep in england than wales :mickey:

i don't know why people call us it, though. i find it pretty amusing, i mean, we all have our stereotypes

    - the english, at least according to america, all sound like mr darcy
    - the scottish are all ginger
    - and the irish are drunk, potato eating leprechauns

    lolololol

abergavenny is okay, but i'm a cardiff lad me - for better or worse.

you've got it all wrong. The rich Brits sound like mr. darcy and the poor ones sound like audrey hepburn in My Fair Lady.
