i broke my wrist

broke my left wrist when i was 7, i too had a cast

 

playing handball 3 fractures one big break i waited about an hour and then drove an hour to the doctor. it hurt like hell but not as bad as the xrays. i prob have to have surgery ergh fuckin sucks

 

Wishing you healing and also please boost your calcium.....it will help with the repair of the bones.

How long do you have to wear the cast for?

 

i got tons of vicodin and some iv pain killers there after i barfed in pain all over the xray attendent. i felt so pathetic.

 

i broke mine on my 13th birthday...how long do you need the cast for

 

Ahhh the wrist.

Had a similar injury myself once. Big fat d-man rocked me, folded the wrist back and snapped it like a twig. Played the rest of the game though!

this one untill tommorow they hae to redo it because it';s still swelling and then i see a specialist thurs to see if i need reconstructive surgery. i grabbed my kid in front while he was hitting the ball to prevent him from falling because with his disability if he gets a head injury he'll die and he lost his helmet so all 150 pounds of him and all 155 poundws of me were on my wrist and he fell hard right on my neck too but my collar bones just bruised.

I had to work with this guy (grill cook) who couldnt afford to take any time off when he broke his right wrist (hes right handed too) He had to learn how to do evertything with his left hand. I felt so bad for him. I tried tying my right hand behind my back for a few minutes, and thats all the time it lasted. I couldnt do it.
