    i will buy this. but is it MH or HPS? it cant be both. is it a security light ballast or a grow light ballast?

    it's a growlight and it originally came with an hps but i've had other types in it.

    huh, i always thought that the threads on my HPS and MH were different to keep this from happening. how long did you run other bulbs in it?
