Hydrocodone - quite dissapointing

So, I found a somewhat old, hardly used bottle of 7.5/750 vicodin pills. I'm only 130lbs, so I was hoping a little bit would give a nice high. I parachuted 10mg last week, and felt a slight uplift in mood, but nothing much. I did a small amount because I've heard of people getting sick their first time using opiates.

Yesterday, I ate some breakfast, then parachuted 20mg, and was hoping that this would offer a fairly nice time. However, it did hardly anything. I felt very little in terms of a body high, and all it did was made me very relaxed.

Should I go for 30mg next time, if I do it again? I want to wait a while before a snag anymore pills, since they're not mine.

 

How the hell did you do 20 mg with 7.5s? You did 15 or 22.5 and either way, it's not much. Take 3-4, and there's no real need to parachute these.

Oh yeah, how old are these? They lose potency after they expire, albeit slowly.

 

Maybe he did the math and cut them so the he took 10mg and 20mg. And I though that 1000mg of tylenol was the limit. Or is it really 4000?

 

Oh yea, there's also a half full bottle of 5mg vics in the house.
1st time - 2 5mg pills
2nd time - 2 7.5mg, 1 5mg

And the 7.5 expired 11/28/06, the 5's aren't expired yet
And doesn't parachuting help them hit faster and be more intense?

Should I go for 30mg next time? Although that would also end up being 3000mg apap

 

Whenever I eat painkillers I crush them up and put them in a tissue and eat it. I don't know if it's more intense but I'm pretty sure it's faster.
As for the apap, I've heard that 1000 is the limit, I've also heard that 4000 is the limit. I've seen a bunch of people on here talking about taking more than 4000 and coming out fine. To be safe, I try to go no higher than 1000, but it's probably ok to do much more.

 

Shit, if I only do 1000mg apap, I would only be able to take like 10mg of hydro. I think I'd probably be fine doing 3000mg if I wait a little while. Plus, I don't drink or anything, so my liver should be in decent condition.

"Never take more Tylenol than is directed. The maximum amounts for adults are 1 gram (1000 mg) per dose and 4 grams (4000 mg) per day."

Yea, those aren't lethal dosages, just recommended ones.

 

I think going over 4000mg is a kinda dangerous. Even though I said I only take under 1000, I think 3000 would be safe.

 

Yea, I'd say if you plan on doing 4000, you might as well do a cold water extraction instead.

 

just break them in half.....not really a high enough potency to really do much more by parachuting them......just eat some food and drink a glass of milk and take 4 of them if u barely felt n e thing with 2.....if nothing after 30 minutes then try 2 more on top of the 4.....if nothing then i dont know what to tell ya......just dont try n take the whole bottle because u werent feelin anything......

 

i dont agree with this, one time i found percadan from 1988 with the bottle cap off, and some type of fuzz/mold was growing on them, but i ate the other ones and felt good.

 

1000 MG is a NORMAL extra strength tylenol dose. It is definitely safe to go over 1000MG in a day. The doctor told me to take 1000mg more than once a day before I got perks so....its definitely fine. Stay under 2k for one dose and stay under 5k for the whole day.

500mg is a normal extra strength tylenol. Tylenol is the LEADING cause of liver failure. Its even above alcohol. I would never do over 500mg personally... and really I try not to do over 250mg.

 

Doses from 10,000mg - 50,000mg can be fatal. Less than 10,000 for some people.

yo, you're fine if you want to eat a bunch of apap for now. just don't make it a habit. I have a sensitive liver as it is, so cold water extraction would be worth it to me, even for 2 pills.

I don't know about you, but hydrocodone does nothing for me, fresh or old. all it does is gives me a headache. opiates are awesome, so awesome that it's worth it to just hold off until you get real good pills, with no apap.

 

4000 isnt dangerous its just not good for you. 7000mg is only lethal for 10% of people that dosed that high. Im pretty positive on this, forget where I read it though. 4000 wont kill anyone, and wont do permanent damage but its not a dose that you would want to do many times.

 

I dont know if this is normal, but since Ive taken oxy, hydrocodone has little effect on me. The first time i took an opiate, it was 22.5 hydrocodone and I got really high. after that I got pretty high on 20-25 mg dosages a few times, until I took oxy. Now 30 milligrams gets me barely buzzed. Ive heard a lot of people here say that hydrocodone doesnt do it for them, and I remember hearing that some people dont get an effect from it, so maybe youre one of those people.

 

i donno i like hydrocodone a lot still and I do oxy at least twice a week.
