This is a hwy that acts as a short cut to road the runs NW by SE. Along the way one night around 2 in the morning there was a truck following me in the distance a ways. He slowly gained on me and after about 15 miles he was within feet off the back of my trailer. It kinda mad me a bit mad since there was another lane to pass and I knew soon it would go back to a 2 lane road so passing would be an issue. As we approached the 2 lane and into the first curves I say headlights comming towards me and at that time the truck behind me attempted a pass. I hit the brakes but knew it would be no use. As the other 18 wheeler comming at us seemed to not even notice the truck next to me and heading right at him I was pulling on the air horn, locking up the brakes and bracing for a big mess when the oncomming semi passed me, no noise, no crash nothing but my heart, my tires squealing and my airhorn. The driver that I was sure was going to run head on into that truck passing yells out on the CB and asked me why the hell was I blasting my horn and trying to stop so hard for, by now Im at a complete stop and could do nothing. To this day I have no idea just what happend, the other driver did not see any truck, there was no wreck but I swear it was there plain as day.
the bermuda triangle of highways. doesn't that streatch of road have a history of ufo sightings too? ghost 18 wheelers, why not? go by there in the daylight sometime. wouldn't surprise me a bit to find a pile of rust of some kind down the hill on the downhill side of the road at that point. assuming there is a downhill side of the road at or near that point and it isn't in a cut on both sides. =^^= .../\...
Were you really tired when you were driving? Sometimes when I'm really tired and driving, I see things that aren't really there.
how about the headlights were a reflection in your windscreen, if you were going round a bend, and your screen is also curved, maybe the trucks lights behind you bo8nced off your windscreen and made u believe there was another truck
