Please, post your favorite hummus recipes. I've been making some simple hummus (chick peas, tahini, lemon juice, olive oil, salt), but now I need to expand my horizons. Also let me know the amounts of each ingredient, too, if you know them. Or just give me some ideas of other things to throw into the food processor along with the standard ingredients. I normally chop up a little bit of onion in with my hummus, but it can be overpowering and sometimes it turns out good, other times it doesn't. Garlic is also pretty standard but I can't give you a measurement... just add a little and see if it needs more and slowly work your way up until it tastes right to you.
Oh yeah. I forgot about garlic. I always put that in, too. Tonight I made another batch and I threw in a handful of fresh spinach. It's yummy and it gave it a funky green color.
