i think huck finn is a great book. i dont like it when people try to censer it, its not suppost to be censered, its suppost to be read just like it is.

My favorite novel of all time. Censoring it is ignorant and despicable.

I liked it some. Mark Twain isn't my favorite author, but just because I don't like his style much. We had to read Huck Finn in my English class.

    Censoring it is rather stupid...

One reason is that dumbasses think that it is racist because it has the 'N' word in it. When in fact, it is just being historically accurate. People talked that way in that time period. And they are missing the point.

Anyway, I really like the book, although I like Twains short stories better than any of his novels.

Anyone who thinks this book is racist must not have really read it. The book is actually very critical of the hypocrisy of the "Christian Southerners". Clemens was very much opposed to slavery as well.

I personally enjoyed the book quite a bit. Unfortunately I'm having to read The Awakening by Kate Chopin for my English class right now....it really sucks.
