i had an idea the other day on how the goverment can save billions every year. there should be a bill where all politions should make minimum wage. why the hell should these politions get paid millions of dollars a year, have 3 houses and drive $100,000 cars, while the rest of america makes 8 or 9 bucks an hour. now we all know the politions would vote against this bill so we would have to organize some sort of general elections to get this shit passed. i also have a feeling more people would vote for this then they would vote for president. if any of you people know how we can get the ball rolling on this please let me know, i really believe in this.

 

Not to say your idea is alltogether a bad one...but no politicians in the U.S. get paid millions of dollars a year. In fact the president only gets $100,000...which is still a lot.

I don't know how much senators and reps. make.

 

How about stopping killing people.

The war in Iraq costs a bunch. As does excecuting prisoners when compared to keeping them in jail for the rest of their lives.

The government not killing people would make this a richer country.

 

i dont want to sound like i dick but i really dont want to get in a pissing match about the iraq war. and i may be wrong about getting paid millions of dollars a year but even a hundred thousand dollars is too much when some people are only making 8-10 grand a year.

 

Doctors make over 100k a year...why not the leader of the free world?

Although, anyone that's able to get into office pretty much needs to be a multi-millionaire to begin with.

doctors have crazy bills to pay, like their insurance against getting sued costs over a hundred grand a year. plus their supplies are way over priced, some of those machines they use costs millions of dollars. i can understand doctors getting paid a lot of money but not politions.

 

Can't do it; The government is corrupt.

It will stop when you figure out how to stop illegal wars, costly propaganda, media buyouts, and character purchases.

 

All of that equipment is written off as business expense. Supplies are marked up and paid for by the patient. As for malpractice insurance, how about everybody stop suing the fucking doctors and hospitals. The cost of healthcare will plummet and everyone will be happy. Everyone makes mistakes, doctors don't hurt or kill people on purpose. Want to save the world? Convince someone NOT to go to lawschool. One less lawyer is good for the world.

Not a pissing contest, billy. Just the facts. Humans fuck up everything by getting greedy, we're our own worst enemy.

Stop funding the war, bring the troops home and release them from their slave obligation. We'll have a surplus in two years.

 

Or, we could stop borrowing money AT INTEREST from the erroneously named "Federal Reserve Bank," a bank that is not owned, operated, managed or facilitated by any branch of the United States government.

*That is technically illegal to begin with. The United States is not supposed to let any foreign, or "other" mint create the money for the treasury.

*It means if we always have them make our money for us, we can never pay it off, since the interest we have to pay is made up of the money we're borrowing at interest....

*It also means that until we start printing our own U.S. currency again and DO pay off that LOAN, the metaphorical and literal pink slip to America is in the possession of a group of bank board members.

This goes all the way back to the 16th Amendment, Income Tax Law, which was never ratified by the majority of the states, and is not apportioned correctly. By implementing this illegal law, which if nothing else we recognize is wholly outlived any plausible (tho non-existant) usefulness, and making Americans think we have to keep paying this bill in order to keep the economy is a complete fascist lie.

The truth is we can start printing our own money, drop the income tax, implement a flat tax (i.e. 5% of whatever you make or some other arbitrary number) and we no longer have to PAY for OUR OWN MONEY. This also means no more unfair taxation at different levels of income, and more importantly, AMERICA is no longer in the hands and at the mercy of A BANK!

We would be out of debt in roughly 15 years, and could really show the true power of the American people, American perseverance, American pride.

But this will never be allowed to happen. The people behind it all are reaping virtually unthinkable amounts of money and power, because even though to them money is just a word thrown around, they know that to US it DOES make the world go round.

But why? Because they have decided it is so. Their system of control has been deep rooted since near the inception of the country, and we have been dumbed down and dulled by the media tothe point of complete apathy.

Even now, many of the ones who know the truth do nothing.

Weren't you speaking about US politicians? When did our president become the leader of the free world? Was there a coronation I missed?

The United States president has long been referred to as the "Leader of the free world". Your personal views on our current president don't have any effect on that.

 

- Restructure or scrap programs which are being abused or absolutely unnecessary.
- Cut defense spending
- Cut federal govt and give power and responsibility back to the local and state level where the founding fathers intended it to be.


The current administration is big govt supporters in conservative clothing. A true Conservative supports small govt and Bush has grown the govt faster than any administration in history.

 

Stop bailing out big business and awarding no bid billion dollar contracts. Let the Free Market take over.

How can the government save billions a year?


Easy. By dismantling it's bloated and inefficient bureacracy, much of it is wasted and doesn't serve the people it's meant to serve to begin with.

Will it happen? I don't think so. The present government is broken, corrupt and there's too much money involved.

 

Tax the internet!
Use illegal wiretapping to extort millions of dollars from the immoral and wealthy elite!
Use the army to invade Monaco and Lichtenstein and loot their national treasuries!
Tax Sunglasses!
