    ... on the TV show 'Three's Company'? Jeez. I counted 24 times in one episode (they were obsessed with it in one episode). And no one ever (and I do mean ever) knocks. After the show's over, I still hear that bell going off in my brain.

    I think the runner up for the most doorbell rings is the old TV show 'Bewitched'.

    Just being funny. :)
