I know doctors have different insight on what to prescribe patients so my question to people on here what do you get prescribed? How long did it take you? And what did you go through to get it? I know my friend had shoulder surgery and got Dialudid 2 Miligrams but my other friend claimed his aunt only got Vics for neck surgery involving some of the Discs( not sure which) and was still fucked up, in pain and could barely walk etc, how long did it take to get something like Oxy80s or Perk30s or Oxymorphone etcs?

I think you get what the doctor thinks you need.
If a doctor doesn't think you need hard drugs, the doctor won't give you hard drugs?

i have only had just one surgery......I had pins and wire to hold my tibula and fibula together while the tendon in between the two re attached it self back to the bones, the wire and pins are still in. I was on 10-15 mg every 4-6 hours post surgery, i just kept complaining that it wasnt right, and about 3-4 months after surgery he said that i was to far past post operitive care, and he said that he would refer me to a pain management clinic...After i was already seeing a PM doc, lol so i planned on dumping which ever one gave me the least amount of meds.....but that never happend, i was getting perc 7.5s and 10mg OC's....i started seeing the new doc and started getting 6 15mg roxis and 2 oc 20's a day, and once the oxycontin OP's came out, i got switched over to Opanas....every 4-6 months i usually get my meds adjusted, i just got upped from 7.5 percs to 10mg and my first doc....he has also had me on fent patches, oc 10s....at the second doc, i have been on OC 20s, OC 30's, Exalgo 12mg's, Opana 20's.....but other than the original OC's nothing i have been on compares to the Opanas, the exalgo was a once a day deal and where expensive, and not really alot of people had been on them, so i didnt know how they were to snort or chew, so i just ate them, wasnt much fun, and i couldnt get rid of them, around here they werent heard of.....I also have gotten Scripts of Soma from either doctors, which will knock u on ur ass in combo with the pain meds, lol......so that is my background of meds and surgerys.......foot/ankle/back still fucked, but gettin through it, one pill at a time.......

    Current meds.....
    doc one

    100 10mg perc
    30 10mg ambien
    60 10mg Opanas

    doc two

    200 15mg roxi's
    45 20mg Opanas
    120 350mg Somas

I had no surgeries... just an MRI that showed mild degeneration etc.
But, I'm in a lot of pain. I told my doctor that
    I get
    120 10mg Opana
    90 40mg Opana ER
    120 10mg Methadone (if i need it)
and 60 2mg Xanax for the pain stress induced anxiety.

I guess it varies from doctor to doctor.

My sister just got oxycodone + acetaminophen for a gall stone. She hasn't even had the surgery yet. Apparently it can randomly hurt, but I'm still surprised at this.

They gave me 30 10/325 percs after I got my wisdom teeth extracted and they were HEAVEN, that's all it took and I was hooked. Now I'm stealing pills from my family and buying them on the street.

I have someone in my family that was in a train accident and after about 10 surgeries they finally prescribed him Oxys and hydromorphones. Now when i got my wisdom teeth pulled i got prescribed T3s which was totally shitty, but friends at the time were prescribed either percs or OCs after there wisdom teeth surgery so it really does depend on what doctor you have.
