I always wanted to. My little brother is amazing. Unfortunately I broke my left pinky joint playing rugby, and now I cant do any of the chords :/

theyre fun, but writing your own is much much more fun IMO

 

Eh, the stuff I write is cool, but it dosnt chalenge me. I learn other shit to expand my playing in ways I don't think of on my own. Learn some don Ross, tommy Emmanuel, and Andy mckee and the stuff you write will get much cooler.

 

i already play fingerstyle lol
ill listen to it, but figuring out how to play it, just feels like making noise to me
i just enjoy writing music more >.<

but anyways, do you play other instruments as well ?

 

I play guitar both acoustic and electric. I can also improvise on the keyboard but I have trouble playing chords in the bass clef on it.

I have some decent original material riffs but haven't added other instruments yet. I was in a band for a short while but I was really only friends with on of them.

I like to play covers alot:
Hendrix, Zeppelin, aic, nirvana, sabbath, Clapton, g'n'r, jack Johnson and that type of stuff.

I used to play guitar for 7 years but quit. The lack of equipment that was appropriately scaled to my skill level and the amount of money needed to buy it became too discouraging.
Piano occupies my time nowadays, and I venture back into jazz trumpet on occasion.

I play acoustic. Don't really ever play covers, just improvise. Generally when I'm high, and then have trouble remember what I played when I think "that was good!".

So pretty useless really? Aww well. Fun all the same. hah.

That was cute and yes I did know that. One night I got really fucked up on some xannies and yeah you know the rest.

 

Trained guitarist and drummer here. Didn't have loads of drum lessons, but enough for me to work on the basics and develop to what I am now.

However, I have my grades on guitar, I was in uni doing a degree based around songwriting and music production once upon a time. Now I write songs for local bands and make some money for it, nothing official, but I think I might someday try and get into the industry if it feels right.

Since I know the theory, I am eventually going to try and learn the piano properly as well.

I play a pretty basic Les Paul Special and use Line 6 amplifiers. Playing music is great fun.
