how many grams of sugar

    if a person is trying to loose weight how many grams of sugar should a person limit themselves to consume a day.

    It depends..... If you are on the larger side (wide hips, love handles, a little round belly), it signals that your insulin levels are raised. This means that whatever form of sugar you put in your system with be stored as fat. (I have spent a lot of time studying endocrinology). Sugar is not healthy either way and many people have found that by eliminating it from their diet, they tend to lose weight at a quicker pace.

    what kind of sugar, sweetie. heheh i couldn't resist. i'm in a silly mood. perhaps too much sugar is to blame. no but seriously, if you want to eat ice cream and cake all day, i'm thinkin that is no good, if ya want to eat apples all day, i'm thinkin you can get away with it. so what kind of sugar we talkin here?

    Yes, very true, and once people start to eliminate it, they crave it less and less, some even get to the point where things that used to seem normal become way too sweet. That happened to me in a sense. I can't drink coffee (I know I know I shouldn't anyway) with any sweetener in it, and just 4 years ago I used 3 sugars. Blah! But anyway, I don't crave sweets as much anymore. It is like getting all of the toxins out of your body. Then your body is like hey, this is pretty cool, I don't need that shit. :)
