How long does xanax high last?

Well compared to clonazepam (klonopin) I hear that xanax is alot more of a desirable high, however the high is much shorter than the long lasting klonopin high. Now how long on average does the high from xanax last?

Basically I can get 100 x 1 mg xanax tabs and 100 x 2 mg klonopin's for the same price (70 bucks), and I'm trying to decide which would be the better deal.

 

I'd go the xanax but I've never done kpin. Honestly I don't know how long xanax lasts, because I will usually keep poppin em until I fall asleep.

 

6 hours tops id say, if you stay concious.

 

the half life is 4-6 hours so not that long

probly like 5 if u can call it a "high"

 

and xanax is alot better in terms of a "high" id go half and half i like clonazapem alot too

nothin beats a bar and 2 2mg clonnys and a blunt

I know you've been addicted to benzos before, I've read alot up about the addiction part. I wouldn't even be using them purely for recreation, I do have severe social anxiety alot and it would be helpful sometimes. What's the maximum frequency you can do them before addiction creeps in? Once a week?

It's like being in hell. You will be really fucked up without the realization that you ARE fucked up, and then you get pissed because you set out to get fucked up but for some reason you can't get fucked up. This is why people just keep popping them, and end up blacking out. They really just take you to a place where the soul does not live.

 

Not everyone's experience with benzos is like that. Obviously if that's how they treat you then you shouldn't do them, but some people actually enjoy the feeling, don't black out, or do ridiculous things that get them in jail.

I've gotten way more out of control from being drunk than on xanax.

 

Yeah how come I see so many people bashing benzos, if it was like being in hell then they wouldn't be taken recreationally would they? Besides addiction and acting stupid, they're extremely safe and seem extremely interesting to me.

 

Fuck benzos and alcohol. No fun, no memory, nothing to learn, just forgetting everything... Get some oppies or some psychadelics.

 

Benzos are the one drug that is truely evil and of no use whatsoever.

 

benzos for recreation are pretty iffy... i'd take them but i definitely wouldn't pay more than a few bucks for a couple of pills. buying tons of them is sorta a waste of money imo.

but for anxiety they really are a godsend. i have pretty bad anxiety a lot of the time, but no matter how bad i'm freaking out, .5mg of klonopin will straighten me right out.

edit- sorry but i don't know how long the xanax high lasts, i've only done lorazepam and clonazepam. if you know for sure you want to buy one or the other, maybe you could just get one of each so you can compare them and make a better decision?

 

what about them seems interesting to you? You pop a pill, and then you feel tired, uninhibited, and sloppy. Very much like being drunk. It's not exactly the most interesting thing in the world . . .

I have done alot of research learning that xanax is a perfect drug for anxiety. Mabey even if thats all the good that comes out of them, then you need to stop being so ignorant and look at the facts.

 

xanax has uses. anxiety panic attacks

and for me it helps me sleep
