How long does it take, after you quit, for you to experience the same effects as when you first started? I firgured id ask because i have literally smoked everyday for past 4 1/2 years (since i was about 14) Its not hard to get weed for me at all and ive only took a day or two off (very rarely) but thought it would be interesting to quit for awhile because i hear if you quit for a short period of time you get very high (similar to first few times). I figure at least a week, but whats some experienced answers?
it depends on your metabolism, but it usually takes around two weeks to lower your tolerance significantly enough to feel like the first few times you got high.
I'd say two to four weeks. Personally, a two week break massively lowers my tolerance, but not completely.
you will never feel it like you first did - thats not just about tolerance. smoking heavily from age 14-18 will effect your brain - your brain now is so different to how it was when you were 14 (simply from ageing, mostly, but also because youve aged while also smoking lots of dope), you will never get teh same experiences. but youll get very stoned haha
I think a month long break gets me stoned like it did when I first started smoking, although maybe I've smoked so much I can't remember what it was like at the start... ah well, who cares.
The first time I smoked I tripped terribly and was just high as a damned kite, then again I smoked some goooooood nugs. I have never actually stopped smoking since I started. Right after I started I just wanted to continue becuase I knew it is/was way better than beer.
another person saying "trip" when talking about weed... whoopee. Do you realize thats like saying 'Oh I was so high after drinking 8 beers'... people... c'mon
hahhahaha...burn weed can stay in your system(binded to your fat cells) from 2 hours to 45+ days. id say the minimum time you have to stop smoking for would be 2 1/2 weeks.
