About Bush being president again? What do you think will happen and what do you think wouldn have been different if that John Kerry had won?
I don't think it really makes a difference. Bush, along with most if not all of the people and politicians "in control" of the country are just puppets anyway. Figureheads. Scapegoats. Call them whatever, they don't make any real decisions. I think Bush was put in office just to mock the American public's intelligence. Hell, Bush's stupidity just serves as another distraction. The guy is a fucking moron, and I don't think things would've been very different with Kerry in office, seeing as he and Bush are old cronies and Skull & Bones alumni. About what's going to happen, who knows? I wasn't alive in the 60s and 70s but it looks like Vietnam all over again. Aren't they reinstating the draft next spring? Who knows what will happen? The only thing you can be sure of is that things are going to get worse.
I think Bush will push legislation through that will make being a hippie illegal. Long hair and dreads, a thing of the past.
I think the fecal matter is going to hit the high speed rotary wind propulsion device over the next few years.
I dont think Bush is the whole problem of the United States.... we have other issues going on here, i was reading on some article about how the guy thats tryin to build that space hotel was trying to get prices on parts, and i dont remember exactly what the part was, but the US would sell it to him for like 50,000$ while germany was willing to sellthe part for 5,000$. Its ignorance like this twords things of the future thats gonna turn the US into the next russia. Plus we get our noses into to much shit that we shouldnt be dealing with, we're trying to feed other countries and build more prisons in other countries, when we can barely feed our own mouths anymore and crime is insane
I think we're pretty fucked. If he was a "nice man" in his first term to win reelection, what the hell is his bad side?
Wow, that's a good way to think about it. I think with him, we've just hit the tip of the iceberg, brudah.
I'm usually not a pessimist about politics, but in the situation we're in with George W. Bush, I think that the U.S. is gonna crumble like the Roman Empire, but this is where the optimism comes in: then hippies, long-hairs, pot-smokers, acid-droppes, shroom-eater, radicals, free-thinkers, rockers, etc. can finally take over.
