Im broke and I have a couple of ounces and I'm having trouble finding someone to sell it to.........

Anyway, the bolder you are about promoting, the more buyers you'll have, but the better the chance about getting busted.

Go to school and ask someone who looks cool: you want a joint? or a dimebag?
if they say no, then just walk away.

 

Could I get arrested for telling someone if they want weed?

 

You can't tell someone if they want weed. You can only ask.
They can only arrest you if someone reports that you offered to sell weed, and then it would only happen if they decided to search you and actually found what you were holding.
Remember, deny, deny, deny, if they tell a teacher or someone else.
Don't you have any friends who toke? Ask them to talk to anyone they know who smokes and tell them you have what they're looking for.

Your 16 so I assume you go to school. Just ask around, but just be cool about it. Like strike up a convo with someone and if they're smokers then they'll say they need some, that's when you make that move.

Tough question you ask. It crosses the line of being a 420 friendly toker to a drug dealer (in the eyes of the law) so you have to be careful.

The more you advertise, the greater chance you will get caught. End of the day you have to ask yourself if it is worth the risk. Will you be making any money on the deal or just trying to break even?

It's only a couple of ounces so you might as well keep it for yourself and not have to worry about running out for a long time (2 ounces would last me months, I am not even a quarter way through 1 ounce I bought a couple of months ago).
