and how dumb do they think we are? he only picked the running mate he did because hes trying to level the playing feild, its like a dumb marketing move. ide love to see the discussion that this sparks, if any.
it almost feels like the democrats and republicans have decided to stop competing so they just hired some writers to think up a great show, but the show has been on for a while so the story just keeps more and more convoluted and outrages with every new episode, but they just wont let the show die
Yeah, it's a big scam. But what else is new? I actually don't think this woman is a bad person (from what I can tell). I just don't think she has any clue what she's part of. She's simply being used for strategic reasons so McCain actually stands a chance against Obama.
What an opportunity! I just heard one of her speeches and you can totally hear the teleprompter in her voice. She's nervous..
yeah she seems very inexperienced, god maybe its a lame joke, shes not the norm for a presidential race and shes inexperienced, sound familiar? haha
I've researched her all day, and in fact I find she's the best of the bunch. I won't and wouldn't underestimate her. She may be using McCain in order to advance her own private agenda. And I wish her luck. I think it was a brilliant move on the McCain campaign's part. It's the only way I would ever consider voting for him. And I am currently doing just that. I don't agree with everything she's for, but it's not established politics as normal, nor has she caved to her party when it was not in the interest of her state. We need more politicians like that. She's made the oil companies pay their fair share in her state. I like her! She's not Hillary and that's a point in her favor in my book.
How much foreign affairs experience did Bill Clinton have before he was elected the first time? I for one am for giving the unexperienced a chance, I think we've watched what experience has wrought.
I hate like hell to admit it, because I usually agree with Pressed Rat, but I think you are correct this time.
it is transparent but I just had a conversation with a lady who feels this is a wonderful move on his part. It makes no sense to me except for the strategic part of trying to get the tainted women votes....unfortunately, it will work for some.
I did alot of research on her yesterday as well. So far I haven't found the 'dirty' on her....however, I still feel this move was about strategy and not the best candidate for the job.
You mean besides the ethics investigation into her trying to get her sisters ex-husband fired and then firing his boss when he refused to fire the ex-husband. She is not only unethical, but she is petty as well, two great qualities for a Vice President.
Excellent, link me.....I only had a chance in between work and classes. I don't claim to be an expert. Why was she trying to get him fired?
The other point I'd like to raise with that whole "experience" thing is that it doesn't matter how much of it you have. If you're planning on duplicating someone elses policies, there's not much experience in the world that will help you. Not only that, McCain's vast experience doesn't even include finances, and Obama does.
