Hospital

Friday night I had went to the hospital at like midnight. The reason for going to the hospital is cuz I started spotting just a bit and my doctor told me that at the slightest sight of blood to go to the hospital. So Shane and i went to the hospital and they took me up to the maternity ward and hooked me up to some machine so they could watch the baby's heart or whatever.I wa so nervous that my jaw was chattering so fast that you couldn't even see it move. I was so scared that something was wrong. The doctor had examined me and basically said that my cervix is starting to thin out a bit. So I shouldn't be surprised when I spott a bit more or whatever. finally at like 3 A.M they let me go home. I was so happy that my baby is ok.

It's good that you went to the hospital right away though. Remember stress only aggravates any health problems you might have already, so try to fin dsome way to not stress about possible problems. mmmmm psychosomatic

 

yah, stress is so related to health. it's insane that its not TOTALLY common knowledge.. knowing how important it is.

 

I am due march 8 but my doctor had said that my water could break at any time.
I think I read one of your threads about stress and how it made you sick. It is so interesting what just a bit of strees can do to your body.

 

I had a women come into the ER yesterday with the same problem, only she was 8 weeks along. I don't know what became of her though.

 

oh, wow. that's a little scary. i nearly lost my daughter when i was onlly 4 weeks along. it was terrifying. but you're nearly where you could deliver and not worry too much about your baby's health. kai was delivered a month early by c-section, and she in perfect health. probably because my body stressed her out enough to fully develop her lungs, or something like that. it's amazing how mother nature copes with our problems.

 

i bet you're so excited! do you have names picked out? are you doing a natural birth?

my boy was soo overdue, i couldnt wait to have him when it got to be near the end of my pregnancy. wee little newborns are so amazing. i'm excited for you!

 

Glad to hear you and baby are okay. I had a few scares at the end of my pregnancies. I wasn't fun at the end. I wanted my body back.

My friend shared a tip with me and I tried it out. It worked for me. Had sex and then layed there for an hour. Then I had Rasberry ice cream and almost went into labor right there at Friendly's. My babies were born within 29 hours. (29 for the first one and 7 hours for the second)

I wish you an easy labor.

 

Thank you Peanuts for the tip. all day today Aiden (baby) has been laying on my hips and it's been difficult to bend at the waist to sit down and all. I cant wait for him to come out I am so excited. Shane and I went baby shopping at k-mart and we had asked a lady (that was shopping) what we could use for the umbilical cord and for the circumcision. She had helped us shop for all the right things. she had her two boys with her they are twins. Before we went to check out she had asked if we had any family and we said no so we had exchanged numbers and she said she will come visit us in the hospital. She was super nice I am just so shocked.

 

why are you cutting off your baby's foreskin?

yeah it's very interesting and something that i think people should keep in mind.

I beleive that cutting the foreskin will be a bit healthier for my baby and also when he starts to get potty trained and watches daddy he will wonder why his peepee doesn't look like daddy's. The reason that i beleive it will be healthier for my baby is that bacteria can grow in the foreskin if not cleansed well and also a crust of white will form and than when it is removed it could tare the skin and cause an infection. this is just info that i have gathered thoughout my pregnancy i have read in magazines and talked to my doctor.

also this is soooooo cool shane's boss is giving us 300 dollars so that he can get a video camera for me. that is so awesome

Same here...I so thought you were gonna have the baby...I'm so excited for you! And there needs to be tons of pictures...The whole hipforums family is excited about this!

 

no Im not talking about someone who has posted here before I am talking about my fiancee, his name is shane, I get so tired of saying my fiancee and I or my fiancee ( shane) so i just put his name cuz it's easier.

 

you need to educate yourself. you shouldn't be allowed to circumcise your son. the stuff you spat out before was horseshit. i beg you to change before it's too late.

 

A little bit of spotting is ok during the first tri-mester. A tinny bit. Any more is not good.................
