    very purty!!

do you use glue or something to hold the pieces in place while you zigzag around the edges?

i use Heat & Bond Lite...you iron it onto the back of the fabric...draw yer design, cut it out, then iron it to the piece yer putting the applique on..holds it like glue..its great stuff...

    thanks as always ladies...

cool, thx, i'll have to try that when i get my machine working again. the last time i appliqued, it reallllllllly didnt work at all. it was an abysmal failure.

anyways, yours is absolutley beautiful. looks like it was made professionally. :D

yeah, I use the same kind of stuff for apliques, it's great cause it's double stick, and it's a sheet, so you just cut it all right out. I used to use "stich witchery", that's not sticky and come in strips, it was sooo hard to work with, the heat & bond stuff is like a dream come true, better than sliced bread, lol

and supermommy, amazing job! it looks beautiful!

    thanks!
i just went to play with it to make a bag around it..n my iron started spitting out brown stinky water...it smelled horrid!!
I had noticed it earlier when i was ironing this n i thought it was just coffee spilled on my desk (yes i iron on my desk lol) but alas it was the death of my iron tonite for sure....
i tried dumping out all the water in the iron n i turned it back on n it was smoking..all bad..lol
now i have to wash this cuz there is poo colored water stains on it...bugger![IMG]
worst part is now im outta commission til i can get a new iron..i just went n got fabric tonite too...figures...tomorrow im goin begging to the neighbors to see if i can score one to borrow...thats the true sign of a fiend eh?

i use the triple stitch actually, on the teeth....set to 0 on the width i have to hald crank the machine tho..its a royal pain in the ass and it takes forever but i dont fuck it up that way..i do that on the thinner facial lines too..
