is this thing real? like internet studies? after passing an exam do you actually get a valid diploma you can get a job with? just a long thought i had :/ also any experiences???
My friend does that, he's fucked up and won't go to school anyore. I don't know why he wont. But yeah it counts as a real diploma, atleast here anyway.
homeschooling = the worst fucking thing to do to your child. i was home schooled through middle school and that got me in lots of trouble (basically mentally going from 6th grade to 9th without social developement) it really fucks kids up and they will pay for it and your kids will resent you for it
sounds like you have mommy issues! Homeschool is so chill. In 10th grade i moved and was in a new school. This school had just been integrated with kids from southside(nice, preppy) and then northside(real bad ghetto, tons of meth). 7 fist fights on the first day. needless to say i was like FUCK THAT. So i looked into homeschooling and finished my highschool with that. They sent me my diploma in the mail and it is nationally accredited. Straight A's. College credits. Sitting around getting baked all day. What school is better than that?
I agree with MMC.. home schooling totally tears a kid away from social interaction that you gain in school.. you wanna become home schooled you might as well become Amish while you're at it as well...
there is a big difference between 6th and 10th grade. how the fuck would i "sit around and get baked all day" when im 10-11? no one is gonna sell weed to a 6th grader. uh... duh
i was only kidding. I'm just saying it doesn't really affect your social interaction unless you let it. Public school has gone so downhill that I would rather have more control over my kids. you know what was popular when i was in 6th grade public school? ORAL SEX. I would rather my future kids be locked up(in the house) than knocked up, ya dig? What's the best thing in public school? being popular. What's the best thing in life? being a good person. I just think it would be easier to raise good children in a shielded (but not blinded)environment.
you dont need your kids on a leash to stop them from running out on the road. for fuck sake were people not animals. sure, some challenged kids need different ways of education, but most donot. YOU as a parent should not expect school to raise your child, it only helps to educate him and prepare him for adult life theory. you have the experience, you should help him with that. most people learn from trial and error, in a public school theres much opportunity for this. Oral sex doesnt kill or impregnate, experience doesnt either. though people believing this does create an assumption that youre a idiot. I feel angry at so many stupid parents who bring children into this world. ITS UP TO YOU TO RAISE YOUR KID! UP TO YOU TO EXPLAIN TO HIM ABOUT DIFFERENT SITUATIONS/PEOPLE/OBJECTS?ACTIONS/EMOTIONS. Also, when your kid trusts you enough due to this proper raising, proper bonding will occur. And then the trust will be so high, that the kid will not lie to you unless absolutely have to. IF YOU CANT PROVIDE A CHILD SOMETHING MORE THEN A ROOF, FOOD AND BOOKS, YOU ARENT REALLY A FIT PARENT IMHO.
You cannot believe this to be irrefutable evidence? My parents were amazing. I'd even put money on the fact that i had a more loving, nurturing, educational upbringing than 98% of americans. but guess what? I lost my virginity at 13, started smoking cigs at 14, started smoking weed at 15, sold coke at 18 and am just now getting my shit together at 21 for the first time in my life. I straightened up due to personal realizations. where did i meet the girl i fucked? public school where did i get my first cig? public school where did i buy my first dimebag? public school where did i buy my first gram of yayo? public school Oral sex doesnt kill or impregnate? THAT is your rationalization? you want your 12 year old daughter suckin dick? i dont. what about your 12 year old son? Homosexuals are much more tolerated in public school, and I dont mean any offense, im just sayin 12 is a little early to be sucking somebody's little meat meat.
lol i dont see anything wrong with the 4 things you listed.... in moderations theres nothing wrong with them
agreed. my point was all 4 of those were not taught to me by my parents. They were products of a shitty environment called public school.
yes, but they should have been tought by your parents. as a parent you not only have to prepare your child for the beauties of diplomas, promotions, marriages and kids - but also sloppy drunk sex, oncassional snow, chilled spliff with mates or that 12 year old girl who looks like 17 and sucks like a hoover
