What was the "stuff" ? If it is what I think it is, you're a fucking narc and karma is going to kick your ass. You have probably no idea what its like to be narked on by your "friends". Loser.
Heh, tobacco is a hell of a lot worse for you... If the government wasn't so scared of it as for power, it wouldn't be illegal. Tobacco is legal because the radon and radioactive shit sprayed on the crap kills people off. Weed is generally organic, but a lot of stupid people don't give it the respect it needs and become burnouts. As far as my research goes, the tar doesn't lead to the majority of health problems, the fertilizers do. I've said it once and I'll say it again, population control, jobs, making money off of the tobacco companies and investing, and then making money off of investments in healthcare after pack a day smokers get ready to croak....
Nope, I just think tobacco is worse and I figure there's a conspiracy involved. Both are plants in raw forms, no deadlier than an organic head of lettuce or some cabbage, but it's when people start putting in adding fertilizers and chemicals to it... The only difference is one holds nicotine, one holds Delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol. Together with caffeine and strychnine, nicotine belongs to a group of chemical compounds called alkaloids. They're bitter-tasting, often poisonous substances that are made by plants to discourage animals from eating them. Tobacco was introduced into Europe by the Spanish. Initially it was hailed as a medicine. There were claims it was effective against rheumatism, asthma, toothache, and ulcerated wounds. One of its greatest advocates was Jean Nicot, the French ambassador to Portugal. In 1561 he sent seeds of the tobacco plant to the royal family in France. The plant was subsequently named Nicotiana in his honour and when it was eventually discovered in the 19th century the alkaloid drug was called nicotine. It was different back in 1607 when they started growing crops at Jamestown Colony... But unfortunately, we don't live in that kind of world anymore. Maryjoowanna has been around much longer. It's been used in Chinese medicine since 2737 BC. It was outlawed in 1937, I believe, under the marijuana tax act because "poor black people and jazz musicians smoked it and it would cause white people to go insane"... also because the christian mormon missionaries were bringing it back from mexico... In my opinion, outlawing cabbage and squash would be about as logical as creating borders of jurisdictional power... oh wait, we already have them. But what's the difference between one side of a border and another? Simply the governing. But anyway, it happened and nothing can be done now.
And by the way, as far as things like the "gateway" way and other things like heroin go, people are taking a raw plant and making it into something else. It's the same as oil drilling and converting it into different fuels, only with a different medium. Yes it's bad, but then again, so are Daffodils, Elephant ears, and Oleander. They can cause death in some people... Tomatoes weren't used because they were deemed poisonous because of the leaves. Basically, all it barrels down to is people are really ignorant, confused, greedy, and power hungry, in my eyes.
I would agree with your theory George... but what about teaching about anti-smoking (cigarettes) in public schools? Reverse psychology is the only reason I can think of why they would do that? (especially teaching anti-herb at the same time) and reverse psychology seems a bit iffy to attempt on a major minority. Please expliain your theory on this.
no i do not smoke pot...i have never even had one puff of a freakin' ciggarette...i dont intend on it either
