Hi everyone :) My boyfriend and I have our anniversary coming up, and I'm just about to go away to university. Looking for a present for him, I saw a really cute idea for his 'n' hers pillows - like these, for example...[IMG]
I thought this would be quite easy to make as a gift for him while we are apart, but my question is.. Would normal "permanent" marker pens work on cotton, nylon, satin pillowcases..? Does anyone have any ideas for designs?

Yup, Im pretty positive that permanent markers (sharpies come in ALL kinds of colors now) would work well. I write my kids names on everything that goes in the wash with p.marker and it never fades or comes off.

Show us what you come up with! :)

Ya what she said~ :) Although I have noticed that the fabric markers aren't as bold and bright as p.markers and they seem to fade after a few washings.

So what the hell IS in the bottle?
That fabric you chose will be a challenge. I don't know what would take on it and last longest. Have you considered embriodering it? Its a simple design to do and there would be not questions of it lasting.
