hey anybody from around 99 - 00 remember the old hippychat ... if u do you will remember it used to b a bit different, well thats when i was in there all the time and i was just wonderin if anybody remembers me or the people who used to hang out there ... SunLion or Zooooooooom or god i cant remember .... i was the gruster rooster ... so please get in touch if you recall that time or the know people who could ... would love to see how many people i remember and who remembers me and get in touch with them to say hi now that im all settled n living with my lady woooo hoooo

 

I was around HC in that time but I'm sorry, I don't remember yer nick. I was usually in during the vampire hours. The java link isn't anymore/right now. Sunlion is still around, Miss Stellablue has been absent alot lately. I have bad news if you have been gone a long time though... Philmcamera is no longer with us anymore and the same with Dandelion *sigh* Cloudie is on the forums as crayon. Its not the same in there these days and without the java link its a crushing bore. The server on irc is /server irc.XircN.net but hasn't been working for me. Get in touch w/ xaosflux if you need any help. I personally gave up and am on a hiatus from there after about 6yrs of hanging out.

 

thank you for replying, yes all those names rang bells LOL though i must admit not yours but then we are across an ocean and if my maths is correct i would have been on when it was morning over your way!
i left the loop just before the things happened that you mentioned, the last time i came by was just after that and although i was aware that one among the community was no longer, i did not know who.
sadly, philmcamera was perhaps one of the ones most likely to remember me, though i do remember stellablue becoming a familiar name in the room when i used to log in.

i was in there too!!! yes i was there the day poor philmcamera's death was announced rest his soul. i didint hear about dandelion me and sunlion used to have the most awesome chats. i also used to speak to paradise, sophizgood.... but the chat's gone to the shit no offence

 

well, the java link never got set back up either when we hadda change servers. I member yah greenfairy~ Sunlion comes up with some great shit. Philmy was the best of us I believe and to me, since his death it has just never been as kind. LOL, I always knew it was time to finally go to sleep when philmy came online. He was an early riser. I Still talk to lotsa people from there, the two you mentioned...Cloudie is crayon on the forums. stellaRsmiles (Deanne) lives right down the road so we hook up now and again.

LOL!! well maybe its good. Because once I get to know yah well, I never stfu. Actually I can be a shitload shyer on the puter than I am in life. Might have been some drama going on at the time too. I love sophi to death but we had a bit of a drama between us for awhile too but thats been resolved for ages and we are great friends. Some days the place could have been renamed " As Hippychat Churns" or some parody on a soap opera.

 

I do not recall your name either. During 99-00 I was still known as Violet in Hippy Chat. Quite a bit of drama began during the tail end of 1999, and most of the folks quit coming around. Kri, Angel, Phishy, Cat Lady, Mad John, Paisley and various others left.

Yeah...I was so frigging shy when I first got on. Only peeps I talked to really was you, Oaffie, and critter when it was very very late in the beginning. Been fun watching y'all grow up too. Ditto...this last server change was the last straw for me. The last several months, I was signing in but mostly lurking. Most everyone I liked had already been for all intensive purposes, chased off already before the jerks got reined in again and those that haven't been I just keep in touch with in here or on yahoo.

This past may makes seven years for me. That may or may not be pathetic, depending on whom you ask. Ryan and Rainy came not too long after I did, and I believe Misty came during the time I took a break from chat.

 

I came to realize alot of people I thought were already regs had just come on about the same time I did,lol, so I'm always a bit confused...jbird...sisterstarfarmer....shit!! can't remember the sister's name...she did tour w/ jbird once too...Polly and her many nicks (Dwarfjuggler, and many more,lol) Seemed like a changing of the guard to a degree right before I got there. I miss the days and would be living there like we used to again if it would ever get back to what it was/should be.

Well...you can get in thru an irc program like mIRC but its just not the same at all...*sigh* If someone told me six months ago I wouldn't be in there chatting today I would have thought they were nuts.
