I always have to stop to take a laugh or two at those people who talk about how "hippy" they are. You know what I mean. Twelve year olds who run on endlessly about how many pairs of bellbottoms they bought from American Eagle at the mall saturday night with Crystal and Caitlyn...

Haha, anyone who talks about how "hippy" they are, really makes me lose interest in them. Same goes for anybody who talks about how "-insert label/group here-" they are.

Yeah, it's cool if you're a hippie, as long as you dont go telling people about how hippie you think you are.

 

If you feel hippie you don't have to talk all the time about it and to tell people how hippie you are.

 

I don't think the fact that they bought clothes from american eagle makes them posers or whatever youre implying but yes i can see how annoying it can be when a bunch of lost children are running around talking about their hipness.

Yeah, I like listening to people try and justify buying clothes from a place like that. I was talking to my friend last night, and she buys her pants from abercrombie and fitch, and she's all going on about how they're just pants and all that, and they really don't mean anything. She can't just say she used to be a prep. owell, at least she was'nt a goth!

I think people who make threads about being a hippie want to reasure the people that the are hippys.. Ok mister you can be the gothic of gothic or the preppy of preppy and be hippy.. It isnt the clothes.. I go to the mall occasionally and it doesnt change the fact on the inside.. clothes suck.. lets all get naked

I know... but it kind of gets irritating to hear people talk like this, doesn't it? I don't use the terms poser or prep... I don't like labeling or judging people.
