I dont like people that like war and bush or money.

I am 14 and from minnesota if there is any cool hippys that like doing pot please pm me.

 

We all do pot here, man. Well most of us, anyway.

Don't get me wrong, I love the hippie ideals and ways of life. But just make sure it's the values that you truely believe in rather than wanting the image of believing in them. I say this because you're 14 (a very impressionable age) and you've listed some very cliche things associated with hippies.

P.S. There's nothing wrong with people liking money, but it's when they start putting their desire for money ahead of what they believe in that creates a problem.

Well, your kinda young right, so maybe you need some time to figure this out, look around on the forums a little
And indeed, like kmarcher87 says, money is okay as long as you dont live to make more. Money is a tool to live, but not one to be happy.

Blazing doesn't make you a hippie. Living a life of peace, love, and open mindedness does. It's seems to me like you're trying to buy into a label. I've seen many people claim to be hippies (because they smoke herb, listen to Hendrix, and grow their hair long) but as soon as someone starts pushing their buttons they turn incredibly hostile and angry. Being a hippie is about not feeding off your emotions and remembering we are are pieces to a larger puzzle. Without those who we disagree with us the puzzle would not be complete, it would simply be a broken segment of a larger reality.

Most (almost all) hippies burn and/or trip because it's a tool to experience enhanced and altered perception. But doing so does not make you a hippie, it simply feeds the notion of labeling yourself one.

sounds like your tryin to find yourself
when i was 13 my mom and dad split up
so that was kind influencing who i was to become
i was into dark things like depressing things and gothic style clothes
but now that i have pulled out of the depression i was in i have found my true self
well not entirely
i still have a lot to learn

oh and money is used by many hippies
i like money because it gets me places
and it buys useful things
if i could i would live in a communial community where money is disregarded
but since most of us live in a government based society we HAVE to use money
or if you dont then your not gonna have a very fun or eventful life
dont hate money, hate how it eats away at people with greed and selfishness
