whats the most romantic thing your partener can do for you? girls, guys, anyone post! starting now...
ive had a few romantic things done in the past, i was blindfolded, sprinkled with yellow and red rose petals while i sat on my bed... i left them there for 2 days because they felt wonderful to sleep on. Ive been taken to a resevoiur at night had a BBQ and bombfire made, wine, strawberrys, banana and chocolate then jimmi hendrix playing i was blindfolded and when i took it off fire works lit up the sky in front of me *blush* that was amazing. Umm once...i guess this was quite romantic, i was half proposed to whilst making love. Wonderful feeling and at a perfect intence time between us. I had a single rose and box of chocolates delivered to my door as an appology for being late *grin* thats made me blush loads. Ive had other romantic things done but the most romantic things were just... little gesture that are made at the right time... like having sweet things whispered to you in your ear when there is a sigt before you that reminds you how amazing the earth can be. Hmm, the most romantic thing is pretty simple to me. I enjoy simple homemade gifts. Homemade items show that a great amount of care was used in the process...it really makes one feel special to recieve something like this. Of course, me and my girlfriend have only been going out for 6 months, but this is really awesome to me.
i so agree...homemade gifts r great cus YOU made it...they r always one of a kind that way too... and god knows id melt if a guy wrote me a poem or a song or something...
Thanks, I needed ideas because I was celebrating my first anniversary with my boyfriend. I ended up making him a scrapbook type of thing with songs that we have memories to and songs I wrote myself about him, pictures, memories, quotes and some of my journal entries.
Well...it wasn't traditional at all, but that's fine because we're not traditional. lol! We've been talking about getting married for a long time now. And yesterday morning, after we woke up and were talking about it yet again, I pointed out that its like we're engaged because we're talking about marriage all the time. So, he asked me right then and there. I said, "yes", of course. heh...And then we made love. :& He didn't have a ring for me yet, so we're not going to tell family yet. Because I know my family we be all like, "No ring?!?!" lol! We may get married in December, not sure yet. I'm very excited!
The most wonderful thing any girl ever did for me was call me out of the blue to tell me she loved me and that she missed me, while I was gone for a month. It was great to know she was thinking of me, I know I thought of her non stop. I know that is really simple, but it means the world to me for people to tell me things like that.
