i want to be vegan sooo sooo sooo bad, i am already a lacto/ovo vegitarian (i only eat dairy products NO MEAT AT ALL) my parents are okay with vegitarianism but not with veganism. How do i convince them that i think that being vegan is best for me. I have researched everything i know all the benifits and all the risks. i want this so bad. should i just give in or should fight the power? help please!

    peace and love,

well, being a vegan can get expensive, thats why it never lasted with me. if they are still buying the groceries, then your basically a begger, nothin wrong with that, but beggers cant be choosers

    this is dilli..

since you are in mom n dads house there is no point in fighting this if they are paying for your food. Not eating meat is one thing and easy enough to work around. Going vegan on the other hand is a whole new level and would require they sacrifice a lot to appease you.

    just this moms 2 cents

then dont eat them. but to ask them to substitute it for more expensive foods is irresponsible. and starving yourself defeats the purpose.
