This is just one opinion: ambien isn't that much fun, but 5 mg of xanax should be a sufficiently high dose for recreational effects and if it were taken alone with no tolerance, you'd surely feel its effects. Remember though, with Xanax, you often don't realize how fucked up you are. If you take a bunch of Xanax and sit on your couch watching tv, you may not feel much compared to going out clubbing or having a nice dinner at a restaraunt (Xanax munchies!). Also, you can take lots and lots of them without becoming sick, leading to blackouts, forgetting how many pills you've taken, and sleeping with strangers, etc. Why the ambien?

ambien is really not used for getting high at all its just used manily to get sleepy and for coming off speed drugs like Coke,Meth, speedy X or Acid etc so you can go to sleep. There really is no high you will only pass out.

Yeah if I take benzo's and use the computer or watch tv then I barely feel them. As soon as I get up, I'm fucked up though.

ya, its weird, I only feel opiates when Im still, and I only feel benzos when Im moving. It sounds like your one of those super-tolerant people when it comes to benzos. I have the same thing for phenethylamines. its the damndest thing, they never get me high.
