Help? Maybe?

    A friend of mine and myself are heading from st.louis,mo to san fancisco, cali on a nice little road trip. Now this trip for us is much more then a trip. We have been playing on driving on this specail trip for so long. Though the trip does not lack meaning I would just love for it to have more meaning. I was thinking about to make it a trip for peace or something like that. I need ideas. I am sitting here drinking and I want ideas!! Help me. Love.

    Well, make it count...
    Do something truly hippie-esque and original.
    How about in every town you stop in, you find a random person and ask them to write a message they'd like sent to someone in some other town...and then give that message to some random in the next big city and continue the chain.

    Or collect messages the whole time, and when you hit Cali go to the beach, put em all in a bottle, cork it nice and tight, and set it adrift...

    Or make some sorta stickers/cards/whatever and leave em everywhere you go...rest stops, malls, diners, etc...have some sort of message to em, or have em link people to a website, or to you, or whatever.

    Just do what you feel is going to change things - you'll know the opportunity when it comes.

    when i went on a similar trip with some friends we picked flowers in the woods and handed them out to strangers in the middle of each town or city. we crafted a few little gifts out of wood and plants in the forest (friendship bracelets etc) and gave them away to strangers too, along with some of the paintings & clothes that we made on long journeys/free evenings.

    sometimes people would stop for a chat and we always made sure to throw in lots of smiles and compliments. :)

    it was lovely to see all those smiles and so many people said it made their day.

    but i don't know, maybe if your friend is a guy, you two might be a bit embarrassed to hand out flowers, haha. :p

    just spread the love, as much as you can. try and really connect with the people you meet and reach out to them in every way possible. sounds like you will have an amazing time mr. ryver :)
