Hi, everyone. I had subscribed to this forum a few years ago, but haven't visited in quite some time. I live in the Spring, Texas area, have been here for over 22 years. I moved here from Oceanside, CA; prior to that, I lived for 16 years in Tucson, AZ, and prior to that in New Mexico. I also lived in the Haight-Ashbury in 1969-1970, in a commune, and had many interesting and "educational" experiences during that time. Not that my life has been uninteresting the rest of my life to date, just that my "hippie" days were the most enlightening of my youth. However, I don't really consider myself an old hippie, just simply old (smile). I'd love to hear from anyone who lived in the Haight during my time there; I'm sure there are still some who are alive and coherent!
