I'm a single, businesswoman who has gone to the school of hard knocks. I grew up poor and fought my way up the ladder, which built me up to be the dominant, strong-willed woman that I am now. I am from the Midwest and I used to work for a large company and now these days I primarily own properties around a local university and lease rooms to attending students. I'm a rational, down to earth person by nature, but I do have a naughty side with a bold demeanor, many kinks, and so I'm used to getting the side eye. I'm also a self thinker, very open-minded about everything. I love spooky stuff, the paranormal for example, and I'm skeptical, but I keep an open mind and I just enjoy diving in it for some reason and would love to go on a ghost hunting adventure sometime. I have had my own experiences to that, maybe I'll share sometime. I don't hold any specific religious or political beliefs, and therefore I tend to avoid those subjects, but I am concerned about a few specific behaviors of our youth, especially regarding their excessive reliance on social media, other people and their needs for validation of their own thoughts. I work out a lot and watch my diet, and I like to take care of how I look. Despite my age, I'm still quite hyper. I've been looking for, what I hope, is an open-minded community for a while. I did try Reddit, but it can be a bit hit-and-miss, and they tend to jump on the popular train, which I found to be hypocritical. I came across this site and thought I'd give it a go. I enjoy talking a lot about sexual related things as well as theoretical science, consciousness. I also tend to talk too much and tell people more than they probably wanted to know, just in case it's not obvious by now.
Welcome dear lady! Thank you so much for the detailed introduction. Look forward to getting to know you! ;-). I think you’ll very much enjoy the HF adventure!!
Hi pink sky and welcome. We are a lot alike. I'm a business woman too who came up the hard way dealing with mostly men. I'm on the top of my game now but it took hard nose determination to get here. I did have an advantage, I'm 5'11" tall which puts me eye to eye with most men. No little woman here. They treat me as an equal.
That's awesome. I never thought about height having an effect on how people treat you. I always felt like upper managers never heard a word I said. Or dismissed me as being too "bitchy" or what have you. The world will change, it just won't be in my lifetime lol.
