Whoa ... I think if your looking for answer as to what is beyond space ... you would need to come up with a definition of space. And then Imagine that which your definition lacks, and that will then equal what is beyond space. kinda like if you take infinitie ... and subtract one billion ... what is left over? Nobody can ever know, because nobody knows what infinite is. Think about it.

congrats on the hauge post count brother :)

i reckon, like there is no end, you reach the end then start out at the beginning... like a game of summat on a gameboy where you go off one side of the screen and come back on at the other...

That really made my mind melt, when I imaginied my universe to be nothing more than a gameboy game. I like to think that 'space' has no limits. Here on earth we think so 'inside' the box. Everything has a place and it goes there ... but in space ... it's chaos. there is no limits. eternal. we can not comprehend what eternal is. We were taught from a young age that eternal does not exist. but it does. There is so much left to see.

physics has proven that what we call space only exisists inside our universe. there is no outside of our universe. everything exsists within it. and it's not infinite, because it's expanding. space bends and warps, so chances are, the universe is like a gameboy game. you just appear on the other side. except u don't just appear. because space can warp, it's like walking on the earth. you don't realize it, but the earth is round, which is why u cannot fall off it.

"well the universe is shaped exactly like the earth, if u go straight long enough you'll end up where u were"

Alrighty, i've got a question for you all ... The notion of the universe being never ending, sorta like the earth is a good idea ... but the earth is flat ... and we can walk forever and it will still be flat. But on earth, we can go up ... very far up. So if we are 'walking' along the universe, hoizontally ... what is above us, vertically? :H

One more ... if that is the case, that it's never ending then how do you explain numbers ... like pi? And what is the largest numer ever? Somthing must be never ending ...

nobody really knows that for sure though. If we havent found an end of space through telescopes or whatever. It could just be incredibly far away

    unlimited possibilities

ever see "I (heart) huckabees"? when dustin hoffman is explaining the univserse with blankets...

    "what´s out side these blankets?"
    "more blankets..."

thinking in terms of 2 dimentions doesnt fit this question of "what´s beyond space?" like someone else was mentioning in this thread, if you go far enough, you´ll end up right back where you were.

Until we create a map of the universe, we'll never really know.
