Today I finally coaxed Daniel to be confident enough to cut my hair for me. He was worried that he didn't know how and I was like, "Just cut the shit in a straight line and leave my hair long." He did a good job and my hair was dry, dirty, AND the scissors were dull. I'm proud, he did a better job than any professional ever has. Now I don't have to spend part of my stimulus check on a hair cut, cuz I got one for free!
haha thats awesome. thats what gay boys are for. My old gay boy who I just lost has been cutting my hair for 6 years. My new gay boy doesnt know how, and since I do, I told him I would cut his hair if he cuts mine. I dont get what tthe big deal is.. it growns back. A trim is no biggie..
dave does a magnificent job of giving me EXACTLY what i tell him i want. i get a kick ass a-line bob for free.
this is slightly upsetting... don't professionals have to go to school for it and everything? not to mention the whole concept of professional haircutting is a complete sham if the average guy can do a better job on his first try...
exactly. that's why i never go to a professional. they always try to do something i'm not looking for. well, i don't cut my hair anymore... or brush it... but that's besides the point.
Hubby always trims my hair, does a nice job, too. Thank goodness, I couldn't imagine paying for a hairstylist for that, I JUST want a simple straight line.. My hair is split prone and need it trimmed often.
no no no non When you have my hair, it needs a professional. Wild and untamed and THICK oh god. I barely keep up.
last night dave cut my hair into a BEAUTIFUL super short bob. it's so fluffy and tapers under just right. IT'S SO CUTE. the problem with professionals is that with all their training, they believe they know what you want and YOU don't. this really aggravates me. i think, if i ever have to have a professional do my hair again, i'm going to tell them "i don't style my hair, ever. give me a haircut that doesn't require blowdrying, gel, hairspray or root lifter." i will not allow them to ONCE AGAIN completely ignore my wishes and turn me into a typical soccer mom.
that's the opposite of what i've seen. i go in and tell them to do what they want, just make it a good deal shorter, and they keep asking me how i want every single detail of it, as if i know or care
i swear to GOD, it's infuriating. before i leave i always fuck up the "do" to make it look more like me. the stylists don't quite know what to think. just because i'm a mom doesn't mean i have to look like everyone else at the PTA.
apparently they're less confident with men's styles. my stylists always acted like either i wasn't there, or too stupid to comment. fuckers.
i cut my hair yesterday...my sister helped with the back, but i did the majority of it. looks good. i usually go to my barber down the street, but i just don't have the money...and i was taking most of the hair off anyways
Oo I want a boyfriend like that. I haven't been to a hair stylist in years, I always just cut and dye my own hair. And whenever my boyfriend has normal hair (which isn't very often as he likes his crazy dread extensions and whatever.. ) I cut that too. Saves a looooot of money.
my sister spent $40 yesterday getting a haircut or whatever she got down at the hairdresser... i couldn't imagine spending anywhere near that to get my hair cut or styled. and i know some men who do. the only time i spent that much was when i bleached my hair. i was uber blonde haha....take blonde and make it bleached haha
Getting your hair dyed at a hairdresser is such a rip off. I'd never have any money for anything else if I did that every time I wanted to dye my hair.
That's awesome cause now you don't have to worry about going and getting it cut...And even better there was no flowbee involved... For the past year I've been cutting my own hair, I find I like it better but no matter who cuts it or what-have-you, it will and always looks like crap with a dash of ratty mess....But I don't really give a crap cause it's hair..
Hahaha... Oh my god that Larry King, his hair goes very well with his suspenders.. Haha, he could be my twin..
