Haunted House?

I was just wondering who here believes in ghosts? My house is totally haunted and I'm starting to really get annoyed with the things happening.

 

if there are such things as "ghosts," my childhood home was most certainly haunted.

i'm unsure of what the specific explanation for such otherworldly phenomena is, and am not ready to jump to the conclusion that it must be caused by lingering souls of deceased humans, but a LOT of VERY strange things happened there which cannot be accounted for by normal, almost universally accepted scientific ideas...

but i think its quite possible that it was a "ghost" in some form or another.

I know such things are true and do happen , are you sure its yer house and not the land it sits on ?
But , dont let it get to you too badly , they can only scare you...they cannot hurt you !

 

They don't scare me-I've always been kind of sensitive to these things, I guess.

When I posted this, I was sitting on my couch and heard a knock at my door-it was faint, so I went to the door and no one was there. **REMEMBER MY DOOR IS LOCKED!**

So, I went on with my own thing and all of a sudden, I heard a man cough-and it sounded like it came from right over my shoulder...then my kitchen light turned off. I know it was turned off, too, because we have a remote that turns our kitchen light on (I am not tall enough to reach) so I heard the beep of it turning off.

I have stuff happen all of the time, but this is the most in one day-I wish whatever this was would let me know what it wants!

we have a ghost horse with us in the house...he came with us from our old house. before we lived there, it was sorta like a barn and it burnt down, we moved in, and he followed us when we moved to this houses almost 20 years ago

I swear there are some freaky things going on at the restaurant I work at...... I saw some shadowy figure float in front of one of the 20 some screens.... it was quite strange........ I saw it through the mirror while i was sitting at the bar..... it was quite big.... coudnt have been an insect or anything else, and no one was upstairs....

 

how are you getting "annoyed" with them though?? are they hiding things from you?? like house keys or cigarettes??

 

No no no...they are waking me up in the middle of the night.

I hear coughing in the middle of the night...brushes across my face. One night I woke up because my nose was plugged-like you know when you hold your nose shut? Well, when I do that, my nostrils stick and that happened to me one night.

I have a lot of annoying things happen to me here. I get tired of lights turning on and off and I get tired of my toilet just randomly flushing at all hours. Nothing has ever been hidden, but things have been moved before-we have an elephant statue (about 6 lbs) and I found it one morning at the end of my bed-it's supposed to be in my dining room.

I don't really mind it until the flares of annoying activity. Usually, I'll have one small thing happen every few days but then there are times things happen a dozen times a day for 3 weeks, ya know? It's like living with a toddler haha

Personally? No, not even a little bit. I might be wrong, but if I can't measure it, then it doesn't exist in my understanding of the world.

fuuuck. My husband and I were putting laundry away together and we were facing eachother and we heard a voice BETWEEN us.


We just fucking shuddered man.

I really believe that it is residual energy.

 

Ghosts or spirits or energy or whatever the hell you call them definitely exist. At least you are annoyed by them rather than scared of them. I think this makes you quite a healthy person. Why don't you just one day tell them to piss off and leave you alone?

When I lived in London, we had a thingy in our flat for ages until one day my girlfriend lost the plot. She launched into an amzing rant telling the thing to fuck off, it wasn't scary, just annoying and was really starting to piss her off so much that she was considering moving and that the new tenants could bring ghost-hunters and priests and the like. Everything stopped.

 

It scares me. I don't know why. If there was something there, I would rather them/it leave me alone and I make that pretty clear. Maybe if I was around it a lot, then I guess maybe I would get used to it and it would be okay, but I have never really experienced anything that seemed paranormal, except for this lamp that one of my friends had, I swear you could hold a conversation with it by the way it would flicker on and off. Or maybe it was because we were stoned, who knows. It interests me, but I would be freaked out if I experienced it, especially by myself.
