I wondered, that who has been ever here, or maybe do somebody leave here?If you has an opinion, or want to chat, write here.Is hippy-fests celebrated in middle-Europa?:H If you know, write here please.Peace!!!--------------------*Phoebe*
Hi Phoebe! Welcome to the Hip Forums. I have never visited Hungary, but I would like to some day. Sorry I can't help you out any more than that.
I would love to learn more about Hungarian culture. There is a chance that I may be visiting Budapest this summer at the end of June. I want to go back to Vienna (loved it there), Budapest, Belgrade, and possibly Zagreb in Croatia on my way to Greece (Zakynthos). Anywhere else I should go while in Hungary?
Hello Goldmund! you should visit the Lake Balaton,Pécs(Csontvary's Museum), Sopron("Gyógygödör"-pub ),Eger(the castle)etc... In Croatia there is most beautyful places than Zagreb!for example in Pula there is an amphitheatrum which is wonderful. But that is my opinion, you decide where will you go! Nathan:Thanx!Where are you living?
I have been to Hungary once when there was the Solipse Festival to celebrate the sun eclipse in '99. It was amazing and Hungary is a super beautiful country and the people very friendly. Don't be sad *phoebe* imo it's better to live in a country people don't know much about, than living in a place that many people have a lot of prejudice against.
i will go there this summer and i am exited about that, i don´t know the country but i will .. soon i am sure it´s a beautiful country
I've been to Hungary! Budapest is sooooooooooo fucking beautiful! I LOVE it!!! Have you been to Belgrade, Phoebe? We're kinda close!
hi or should I say szia I've been to Hungary, in fact my family's Hungarian. I was born in Yugoslavia and then we lived in Hungary for like two years plus. I can't even remember all the places we were at. We went to a few refugee camps and stuff and that was basically our time in Hungary. Two of them I remember well were in Bekescsaba and Bicske. I know for sure I've been to the castle in Eger though. It was cool. I'm going to go back to Hungary sometime to visit but I dunno when.
Hey Phoebe welcome to the forums I've never been to Hungary and haven't learned much about it but you should inform us about Hungary because I want to learn about anything ever since I got suspended from school
Szia Blueeyedson! Nice to meet you! Do you speek hungarian? Hello Jelena! I've never been to Belgrad or Serbia, but I was in Bosnia i Hercegovina&Croatia. But I'm going to visit sometimes Belgrad, I promise! It isn't to far!
szia Phoebe, and yes I do speak hungarian. I always speak hungarian with my parents and my brother. it was my first language but now I'm pretty sure I speak english much better. it's been a long while since I've talked to someone from Hungary. you should pm me sometime, I'd love to chat. peace, Rob
Hey. This is my first post back after a much-too-long abscence, just to let you all know. So... hey. Anyway, I was in Hungary last summer. I took a boat tour though Budapest. Beutiful city. As far as heritige, I'm half hungarian, on my dad's side. They came over to the US during the chaos of WW2.
it's great! do you speak hungarian a bit? you have to see the other parts of Hungary, there are different sorts of landscapes, cities, villages, tourist sites, historical monuments... take a trip in the forests of hill Mátra, ship on the Lake Balaton( I live on the south cost of it), and you have to see our castles, wich remains from the middle-ages.(Kõszeg, Buda, Szigetvár,...)
I hart Lake Balaton. Such a nice place. I've been to many places in the country. Outside of Budapest the whole country is a huge small-town. I know two words in hungarian: kusanam (spelled gramatically, not correctly) which means thank you, and vees, which means water. I used to be able to count to 10.
Yes, but I don't like that our country has only one centre, namely Budapest. but country life could be very quiet and relaxated here... but if you are young, and want to make a career you have to move into the capital. you should began to study hungary, if you are a half-hungarian, you are young enogh to start it! didn't you think about it?
