It has less contradictions than the holy bible, and has a tendency to be even more theatrical.

 

spite what some people think, it was an interesting read, didnt mention killing or eating flesh or nothing.. it was more like a self help book imo..

Yeah I've read it, still got a copy kicking around somewhere. I have The Satanic Rituals too. Used to piss my R.E. teacher off no end when I'd leave it on my desk back in school.

anton lavey's church of satan is an elitist scam. they make you pay $100 just to look at your application, and if they reject you for membership. they are not obligated by anything to refund your money. anton lavey had a strong reputation as a notorious liar and self promoter too. a lot of things he's said in the past were never verified or were dismiseed by numerous people who actually knew him. he never slept with marilyn monroe. he also always refered to new church of satan members as rubes. which is carnival slang for sucker. but that crowd got one thing right for sure, discriminate with care.

also i find it troubling that the church of satan would have rules against doing anything illegal, including drug use. but when lavey was alive, he went out of his way to recruit a notorious drug user named marilyn manson into his cult. it's because he knew brian warner would soon be famous and attract droves of young peoples interest into his organization.

 

Elijah, I find that most interesting that marilyn manson knew lavey. I did not know that, but then I don't keep up manson and that ilk. still...
I have never read that book, nor do I intend to. I have enough resourses to fight Lucifer; or so I believe. In my years, I have read a lot...I become more picky as time passes.
I don't think God would have His people ignorant. Certainly not ignorant as to how to fight Satanism on a "local level"...at any rate. This about Lavey knowing and recruiting marilyn manson is not shocking the more I think of it, for I have always "felt" something - and I don't mean good - about this performer.
