Harry Potter & The Half Blood Prince - discuss the book (WARNING: SPOILERS!!)

I'm sure there are many Harry Potter fans out there who will be pleased to know that book 6 Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince will be coming out on July 16th 2005.

Before I'd read the series, I thought they must have been totally overrated, but I'm happy to admit that I was wrong and I've enjoyed them thoroughly so far. I'm yet to read book five, but we bought it a little while back.

Are you looking forward to the sixth installment? Did you buy or borrow copies of the other books?

 

I've already got mine pre-ordered

I thought it was overrated aswell until someone bought me the first film on DVD for Christmas, and I thought it was very good. I then saw a book shop that had a "buy all 4 for £X.XX" on the first 4 books, so decided to get them aswell, and thought they were very good, and raced through them to finish before the 5th one came out, sitting up until late the night before to finish book 4. How sad.

 

Ooo I love Harry Potters.
The books are so wonderful. I have them all and I've read them about gazillion times. Hehe. Nahh.. they're cute. Can't wait for the 6th..

 

I am so excited for it to come out! I can't wait to find out what happens next. I wanted to resist the books since so many people loved them, but they are just so entertaining, I can't help it.

 

I've read them all twice or thrice in dutch and am busy on my second round in english.

I think I've read part one from the library once before it was well-known. Then my little brother got into it and then we were on vacation in Italy and he had HPatGoF and I got sudden cravings for that book, but couldn't read it because he was reading in it all the time. So when we came home I read all of them and when I was reaching the end of part four, which was the latest "back then", I got so sad for almost having read them all already, so devastated that it was going to be finished for the time being.

What books can't do to you, eh?

I swear to Odin that if she lets Snape die in this book I'm gonna slit her throat with a lawnmower.

 

I have read them all a few times, the first two arent that good but the rest are brill.

I baught them all my self and had book five on pre order, I will probly order the next one as well!

I'm SO SO pumped for the next book! My boyfriend thinks I'm crazy, but he just doesn't get it.

I can't wait to see what his OWL grades are, and I want to see more of Neville. I think romance between Hermione/ Ron will begin but Harry will be too busy to be involved with anyone this year.

I want to see how the ministry acts this time. Maybe they will make things easier for the Order of the Pheonix.

 

Yeah, I'm stoked about the new book comin out this summer! I too thought they were overrated until I read them, and now I own all of them.

 

Yeah, the obvious impending of a Ron-Hermione relationship... sigh. I still think Hermione and Ginny belong together.

 

hermione and ginny? hmm.. I wonder if there are gay wizards and witches.

 

I cant wait till the book comes out... Harry potter is awsome... I was the same way i thought they must be really stupid books... but i just had to read it to find out for sure... and i was blown away by them i read the first 4 books in 3 weeks... my sister was laughing at me the whole time, then i made her read them (it took alot of coaxing to get her to read them) but she loved them too when the last book came out she was bitching at me constatly to finish reading it so she could read it... Im sure we will have a repeat of that in july

 

I cant wait for the book either, but what sucks is after this book comes out, there is only book left in the series.

 

I know. what will I do? anyone think that the only reason that is the last book because Harry will die?

I don't know why else JK Rowling would stop such a wonderful series otherwise.

 

Alright guys... the time has finally come! Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince (Book 6) is being released on Saturday, July 6. I for one am very excited for it.

ive not heard that much about harry potters new adventures to be honest - i would like the Ron/Hermione story line to go some where, and to find something more out about harrys family ... i'll keep my eye out for some info though

Aw no! Well obviously you speak and read english. I am sure someone would send you a copy if you sent them the money. Or amazon.com might ship to you. There is always ebay!
