good flick.. i've even been to some of the places in the movie.. one of my favorite places to go is that place they're at when they're near the ocean.. acting all nuts and someone falls through the hole.. it's been awhile since i've seen it
it's a really old movie. you should definately see if you can rent it. it's really funny, but also has great quotes and life lessons. it's one of those movies that inspire some people to change their lives
I love it, good film. I just mentioned this movie in another thread on here the other day, as a matter of fact.
sweet i love the part where Maude says, "That's wonderful Harold. Now go and love some more" or when they go replant the tree in the wild because they want to free it from the city
I saw it at the drive-in when it was new. It was the 2nd movie of a double feature. Definately a cult classic.
that is so cool that you were actually there for it! i sure wish i was! unfortunately i wasnt born till many years later
that bit with the tree in the van had me in tears laughing, I wish that their relationship hadn't been sexual, i liked the innocence of the movie and it felt out of place S
true, it would have better been left innocent, but i think it also shows that age doesnt matter with things like that
i think there was still an innocent quality to it. the innocence of not caring about age maybe. i also think that it was an important part of the story. it's a fav of mine. the first time i saw it an a rerun theater, the first scene where he's hanging himself, i was horrified when everyone started laughing. obviously most of them had seen it before.
Saw the movie with an ex-girlfriend. Actually liked it. Morbid but interesting and funny- though the ending is a bit dark.
