happy update on the home situation

well, for those of you who read my post on all the family crap that's been going on here, I have some happy news.
My sister is living at my dad's now. The court date is in about a week, and some mental help will be ordered for her there...she'll also be ordered to replace the camera she smashed.
Although, since my dad happens to be a slight cheap-skate, he's going after my mom for all the money that he can, and wants back-pay from her for some previous months when my sister was staying with some of her friends. But I'm not going to get into details here...
So, my mom talked to her lawyer, and he told her that she's going to have to pay everything that he's asking for. So, since that's happening, she can't afford to keep the house without raising our rent.
So she sat us down the other day and suggested us moving out so her finace can move back in.....she also said that we can take our time and that she would help us out if we needed it.
Oh loardy, we were happy!!!!! I really didn't want to come up to her and say, "we're leaving," out of no where, and leave her high-and-dry.
So, we've been apartment hunting and found a realitivly good building with elevators, lots of kids and stuff, it's right by the cop shop (so it's really quiet), it has a dishwasher (yey), laundry on each floor, and the rent is the cheapest out of everything else around here. (we're in a small town area right outside of Edmonton, so it's pretty damn expensive here......) It's also close to the college Cody's going to which i will be joining him at in September.
Right now we're just waiting for another suite to come avalible, as there's goint to be a lot in the summer. The one that we looked at was dumpy, but according to some of the students who go to school with Cody, there's some really nice ones which have been renovated in the same building, as well.
Cody also got a job yesterday for the summer at Lube-x, one of the few industries he hasn't worked in....so he's looking foward to that. Leane and I will be flying to BC for a month to stay with my Omi and Opi, so we're really looking foward to lots of beach visits! lol
We'll be moving in mid August-earily September, cuz that's when I get back from my holliday.
So things are really looking up!

thanks everyone! I'm so much happier now! We even went out shopping fore some furniture for our new place yesterday! we bought a deep freezer, our first grown-up, appliance purchase, we felt so proud of ourselves! lol
