Totally true. I am 7 years older than Ty but we are the only one's from the family that would ever show up at HF, which is fine.

We had a good visit yesterday. We might have talked about you all but I am not telling... I was tired when I got home so went to sleep early. It would be wonderful to live closer (like this house ) We were reminiscing about living in Ithaca NY. That is the place I felt most "at home" in my life.

Your dinner last night sounded great.

Shameless it makes me tired to read all that you do in a day! Back in the day I canned mostly tomatoes and made lots of jam but I moved around so much that that eventually did not happen. I was great at making bread too. Living alone that does not happen either.

I am off to fix some oatmeal for breakfast. I usually put in some peanut butter and a cup of fruit and I am good for the morning. I don't know if anyone else it up now but I will put on some extra in case there is.

Good morning Spectacles , I would love some oatmeal and strawberries . Sounds great . I have never tried it with peanut butter , but man that sounds pretty good . Yum !

 

Just back from the grocery store. Got some almond milk and more oatmeal.

Stopped at the cemetery on the way home to water Mom's flowers. The lilies finally opened and they are beautiful!!! We were not sure they would even make it back this year but we had a super mild winter. :daisy:

Ah, but it was after midnight our time when I wrote that so it was the 19th, and tomorrow is the solstice... Just correcting your math by 3 hours difference between eastern and pacific time zones....

I hope your night/day went well.

I'm sorry for being away so much and not cooking and help cleaning. and I am afraid it will continue to be thata way for the time being.

There is so much I want to say and do but I just dont have the energy to type it and my brain is like saying "DUH" "you want me to do what" and constipates itself right then and there.

Total blockage. My brain needs and enema.

I have no canning to do today bc Hubilicious has gone to do a yard and did not pick this morning. I am in no shape to pick either sooo, today I am off canning duty.

Not to say I have nothing to do today. I am backed up on laundry and housework. I will however not be available today for domestic chores bc today has been checked on the calender for my Great Grand Son Caden's therapy appointment this afternoon.

A 75 mil round trip. Day ate up.

I have been reading to stay afloat of what's been happening, but dont ask me what..lol.. bc I cant remember..lol..

I do waht to say to Aeri, I thought you were talking about my hub, bc Hubilicious is posted under his picture..lol.. See I told ya my brain is constipated..

Thank you for posting, Into The Mystic. We use to go see Van at the Carousel Ball Room back in the 60s. He sang that song to me on one occasion. Our eyes were locked through the whole song and I later got to meet him backstage briefly.

I was mesmerized by him. He held power over me, but alas nothing ever came of it..sigh..

 

Glad it brought back some good memories....
