I start at the new animal shelter tomorrow!!! So excited, cats, dogs, rabbits, squirrels, pidgeons, crows, badgers... Although its likely I'll just be cleaning out at first but yaaaay anyway!

Where I am at it was in the 70's 3 days ago then it dropped down to 30's which has kept me sick longer..gggrrr.. Been sick 4 over a week & I hate it...

in my imaginary hippie heaven, i'm opening a 15 year old bottle of Glenlivet, pouring m'self a wee dram, adding a little sugar and a little off-the-boil water... a virtual hot toddy... oh yes... i'll go knock on roamy's door, see if she wants one instead of the tea she invited me for.... anyone else fancy sipping on a nice hot toddy on this cold night? :freezing:

Rudy was funny today.... he's a loon, the way he scampers about like he has something chasing him... i love the way he play fights... he's gonna be a big cat... his paws are big and his ear-tufts are getting crazy... every time i see him, he has grown bigger... i miss ma dawg... when this chest infection has gone and i can return to the woods, i'm taking him with me... he's been at my other daughters flat, learning to be with another dog without eating it... he is def getting there... :sunny:

it's in the woods behind the Magna Carta site, Runnymede, Egham... lots of cowpats and wild animals and unmanaged woodland... muddy, but heavenly...

as soon as i started digging and levelling the land, i felt at home... just making a hobo-stove to keep me and the dog warm... my neighbour has an amazing teepee... i'm in a tent with a bender, but planning to make it more of a hobbit-hole... (have a Lord of the Rings thang going on... )

nice... can you get cheap copper goods there still, or have they exported it all?

anyone can come hun... we have a family building a teepee as i speak... we have been evicted three times tho, just to give you a clearer pic of what we upto... we all believe that the land belongs to us all... having a hard time convincing the authorities of that tho...

Wow lilla I just read through the diggers blog, looks awesome!! What a shame that they keep trying to evict you! What's the point when the land is disused? Basically their only excuse can be 'i dont like it' which is a crap excuse lol! Good luck though, looks great, might come and visit!!

Do you have any small children or babies living there? Or cats?

Damn Tyrsonwood... you need to fix yer stove man... warmth is essential... do you have any way of fixing it? Can you make fires outside in the USA? Or is it poss to drag the stove outside? you wouldn't need the pipe then (if its the out pipe you missing), and you would use less wood to keep it going...

Lilla, I'm in Arizona,USA. I have done Stone Henge and Glastonbury traveling with the Tipi people and returned to the Valley with them and stayed a while. The next year we hosted Tipi people at our commune in the Haight Ashbury....

only 10kms away from my home=dub,dubstep,drum&bass,jungle..
I'm curious about the music..been before to gigs of that kind...
strange folks..probably a lot of baskets shoes,caps upside down on the head..
and a DJ who scratches...ahah..gonna be some Halloween gig for sure..
starts at 21.00h and goes on until 06.00h..for 8 euro's...no problem...

you must think me a right plonker Ranger... i remember you saying you are in Az... the ghost town right? i did a post on that but it was one that got lost i think... i wanna do some ghost documenting... i wish i could travel to the US, but i distrust it sooo much and i think i would possibly be detained and sent back to uk as i'm now classed as a terrorist... apparently... arf... silly isn't it... maybe my balls aren't so huge as i make out Maybe i'll visit on the Astral sometime, if i ever achieve that state enough to know the scape of it...

when did you do this Ranger? (Tipi Village) Must've been some time ago now... i'm a late developer, in many senses, and missed all that... i'm a bit younger than you too... what did you make of Stonehenge and Glastonbury? What was it like to live communally for you? i'd love to know more about how it was for you... Did you visit Avebury, Silbury Hill and the West Kennet Longbarrow? All awesome places, and ancient too... as you know... Always felt Silbury to be my spiritual home... always... it was only when i saw it that i knew that was it... anyway, long story, most of which is lost in time...
