Ohh Hi,
Sorry, I been up to my neck in purple hull peas. Still have 2 gallons to can, but I have them in zip lock bags in the fridge. I'll have them out in the morning and finish them up. I think that's the last of the peas for a few weeks.

The squash is still putting out two five gallon buckets and about a bucket of cukes too.
I did 9 quarts of pickles before I did the peas, I canned squash too, 6 quarts.One bucket of sweet corn. I'll do them too in the morning. I'm plumb tuckered out.

I think I will go and soak away my aches and pains in the hot tub.

Hi! I'm back after a attending a very enjoyable get together/baby shower with a family I hadn't seen in several years due to their moving out of town.

I'm tired but happy

I see that lots of my dear brothers and sisters are plagued with the arthritis as I am. My knees are worst, but it's all over my body. No wonder I feel so at home here, lol!

What possessed me to do loads of housework before I had my coffee? I've reached crisis point now, an instant coffee will have to do. It's an emergency.

 

Uh Oh...I got my days and nights reversed. Up until 6 a.m. yesterday morning and this morning.

Assuming that you are around. Good Morning.

LOL. Our mantra in the ol' house seems to be:
Living in a communal house where the people say awake all night or all day, around the clock whether it's because they are night people and they are up all night, or because they're in distant (some are 7 or 8 hours) time zones from each other means that you always wake up to a thermos pump pot full of hot fresh coffee because someone is always awake head of you.

The thought for the day.

[right now I'm washing the other two out of the three pump pots. All clean and ready to go. LOL]

It also means that the mail is always sorted for all of us, by whoever gets the mail first.
Interesting though.

Do we have any other advantages that we can think of?
