His downward slide in job approval continues. He's now at 45%.

He has a chance to break Bush's skid, which ended at 25%.

Even more of a challenge, going below the job approval of the U.S. Congress, which has been as low as 18% the past year.

This is getting like that thing they'd do at parties in the 50s of lowering the bar more and more and seeing who could go lower.
