Its not really that celebrated where I live and it falls right in a week of pre exams on school.. so probably nothing.
I wanna do something - last yr my friend had a sleepover bt i dont think anythings gonna happen... Specially since theres already 2 sleepovas this week LOL i have a witch hat though... Maybe Ill just annoy my family with it.... What you doing?
I completely forgot until today we dont really celebrate it here, except today at the shops there were a few halloween costumes on display. Maybe a friend can sleep over that should be fun and we can watch horror movies a few years back I went trick or treating with some family friends, but pretty much no one does any of that here, so we didn't really get any lollies. :l what date is it again? peace and love Jane
Last year, my friends and I were all planning on dressing up in an "Alice in Wonderland" theme. My friend was going to be Alice, and I was going to be the cat. I forget what two of my other friends were going to be. We never got around to doing it, and I ended up just handing out candy. I am going to do the same this year.
in catalonia, spain, in that time of the year, the catalan people bake what we called 'panellets', which are made of almonds, sugar, and pine nuts. they may have different additional flavours, such as orange, lemon, chocolate... whatever... traditionally it is common to offer them to the relatives, friends, or just visitors... it is said that originally there were eaten in the church after a death. Another typical costume of these days is "la castanyada" (the chestnut feast). few years ago, the chestnut cooker (castanyera) was a woman who could be in the streets of our villages sellin' or givin' her toasted chestnuts to the people. maybe i'll eat some toasted chestnuts and sweet potatos with my people near a fire, and maybe tell some horror tale. that would be so nice!

I'm probably going to be working which sucks because I spent $50 on a vampire outfit. One of those sexy "adult" costumes. I never get off of work for halloween anymore! It sucks bad.
Got a lab in the morning.. but that won't stop me. No idea what I'm gonna do but most likely it'll involve a walk in the woods at night with a bottle of cider (apples > bobbing for apples > loose connection > excuse to get drunk on Wednesday)
