Okay. For a little diversity... when I consider college acceptance, when that time comes--I think I've gotten the Orange County syndrome. I think I'm going to throw in some ridiculous ones in there just for fun. University of Vermont, VA Tech, East Carolina, William & Mary, Humboldt State, Duke, University of Richmond, University of Virginia, Washington & Lee, UNC... and, what the hell, Georgia Tech and Ole Miss? I really don't know. I've just been taking notes merely for the application processes and started thinking about having some fun with it. I'm bored... and my computer died and came back to life this morning, while I got bored and decided to screw with it while watching I heart huckabees. I'm so glad I don't work Mondays. ...eh... Besides, all of our counselors had a bit of Lily Tomlin in them.
I don't know about the states so much, but there is an application fee for each uni you apply to in BC. Applying to 8 out-there universities would cost like 300 bucks, which is hard to justifiy.
i went with the philosophy "i'm not applying anywhere that wants an essay" haha.. actually it was more like "i'm moving to the bay, so something there better as hell take me"
Yeah... That's not a bad way to go. I guess there are many queries... Shit. I really don't care... I guess so long as I don't come out of the box a guidance counselor or a politician, that'll keep shit gayer than a dancing bear. Thank you, Rip Torn. Sort of... But not really. Little boxes on the hillside, Little boxes made of ticky tacky, Little boxes on the hillside, Little boxes all the same. There's a green one and a pink one And a blue one and a yellow one, And they're all made out of ticky tacky And they all look just the same. And the people in the houses All went to the university, Where they were put in boxes And they came out all the same, And there's doctors and lawyers, And business executives, And they're all made out of ticky tacky And they all look just the same. And they all play on the golf course And drink their martinis dry, And they all have pretty children And the children go to school, And the children go to summer camp And then to the university, Where they are put in boxes And they come out all the same. And the boys go into business And marry and raise a family In boxes made of ticky tacky And they all look just the same. There's a green one and a pink one And a blue one and a yellow one, And they're all made out of ticky tacky And they all look just the same. Bud, take the wheel... I feel a song coming on. - Malvina Reynolds... 1962
