Over the last few days my foreskin has gotten fair red n started to tighten up >< doesnt hurt alot and ive bin using this mulitpurpose cream for rashes, infections, etc etc which makes the redness go away but its still kind of tight...

you have phimosis. when it appears in the adult age it means you've had lots of small, improperly cured (the multipurpose cream) septic episodes. the cure is circumcision. have a nice day

Kaann - you don't tell me enough - does the redness occur after sexual intercourse, or masturbation, or without any sexual activity? Where on your foreskin does it get red? On the outside, on the underside, or on the tip?

You say it "tightens up". Can you retract the foreskin so the glans (head) is entirely exposed, or is it too tight to do so? About 15% of uncut guys have an overly tight foreskin so they cannot retract it fully over the head (phimosis), or a short frenulum (the stringy thing in the inverted v on the underside of the glans), which prevents full retraction. Is this your problem?

You can sometimes use hydrocortizone cream to loose up the foreskin, or olive oil poured into the opening of the foreskin (not the meatus or hole in the head), to help slide it back.

I am a lay sex therapist, and I have helped a number of young men with this problem. PM me if you want a more private discussion.
