and what about grunge? there is anybody who knows this style and type of music with his artists and groups?
I'm a big fan of Grunge music. What are your favorite grunge albums? Some of mine are Pretty on the Inside by Hole, In Utero by Nirvana and Nymphs by the Nymphs. What about Grunge bands you hate? Personally, I can't listen to Soundgarden.
my favourite albums are NEVERMIND by nirvana,SUPERUNKNOWN by soundgarden (how can u hate them???) and SAP by alice in chains.... however i usually listen to all grunge band like Love,Sex &Death , Hole, L7 , babies in toyland, mudhoney....mother love bone....
Yeah, I really like Mudhoney. I have to get more of their CDs. And I didn't really say that I hate Soundgarden. I just dont listen to them because I can't stand Chris Cornell's voice. I think the music is very good
Hole's first CD (Pretty on the Inside) is one of my favorite CDs, and supposedly their 2nd is their best, although it's too poppy for me ... or something.. And I don't knwo what it is about his voice. I know it's really good but it annoys the fuck out of me for whatever reason.
Besides my favourite grunge bands like AIC,Nirvana,Soundgarden,Stone Temple Pilots,Pearl Jam,Mudhoney and Hole i really like Tad, Green River,Babes In Toyland,Screaming Trees,Mother Love Bone,MAD SEASON! Temple of the Dog and L7
As the second part of my 2way name reads, I'm a huge fan and was once a cult follower of the grunge sub genre. I was into the more recognised bands like Nirvana (mostly the older and bootleg/unreleased material, raw recording style), Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, but was and still am into many other less known bands such as Screaming Trees, Stone Temple Pilots, The Pixies, The Melvins, Mudhoney, Sonic Youth, Dinosaur Jr., Paradox, Green River, Gruntruck, Skin Yard, Mono Men, and Temple Of The Dog. Noise to some, breath of fresh air and a break from mainstream music to others.
last 2 post= excellent lists. I was about to start making a list and then I saw these and was like oh that about says it.
I don't know a lot of grunge but i really like Nirvana, Soundgarden, Stone Temple Pilots, Screaming Trees and Pearl Jam
