Just because we're over 18 doesn't mean we're actually mature.

yes there is just something insanely unsexy about someone who tries to find all the secrets of starcraft. It would be the equavilant of beeding a chick who had a room full of stuffed animals (I only have one that's not in my closet thank you)

nope, not a problem for me. some people like crossword puzzles, some people like tinkering with electronics, some people play chess. others play video games. it's a hobby. and since it's something that i'm completely incapable of doing with any finesse, i must conclude that it requires a certain type of skill, therefore something that requires problem solving abilities. i cannot therefore consider it something banal.

If you want your man to stop playing video games, walk into the room naked, sit down right next to him and start tickling his ear.

I don't agree at all. I mean, as long as they don't spend ALL thier time playing video games, I don't see the problem. If they're not going to school or work and all they do is play video games, thats a different story.
Hell, I'm a gamer and I'm a 22 yr old female, does that turn you off guys?

Someone from work just called me to complain about their husband. My ex played video games some-but never when I was home. I am very selfish with peoples attention and would efinitley not want to share it with a tv screen. I had a horrible juvinille habit but I stopped about a year ago, it wasn't video games but none the less it was something I was definitley too old to be doing.

Whats the differance between that and guys who spend all their time watching TV or somthing of that nature? At least video games work your hand eye coordination :) Theyre stimulating and interactive. And personally I find girls that enjoy the hobby insanely attractive.

I don't like guys who watch a lot of tv that isn't news related either. I don't know I just like to be with people who are able to teach me about the world rather than help me waste time in the world-ya know?

thiers a big diferenc between guys who play video games, and guys whos lifes revolve around video games

for me its stress relief. ya know I come after work, fire up the ol pc and blow the fuck out bad guys with a really big gun for an hour or two. great fun.

You seem to be a little too serious... Nothing wrong with having fun, btw the news is ussually just pointless crap designed to waste your time anyway, so why not waste it in a more enjoyable manner..?

nah I am actually not at all serious. But I like to be the immature one in the relationship-not that I am overly immature, but I have always been less mature than those who I am with. It's totally a comfort thing-not that I don't like guys who are goofy because humor is a really important trait but someone who can't carry on a serious conversation or someone who isn't smarter than me-is just not the person for me. I want someone who is going to make me a better person and more mature and I am sorry but video games are just not a sign of intellectual maturity. I understand occasionaly playing but I am speaking of the kinda guys whos dinner conversation revolves around his xbox-not sexy.

Maybe some girls are just to insecure. Especially if they are worried about video games. If guys are picking video games over you then, there must be a problem with you.
