Everyone always says "you'll grow out of it" to pot smokers. They make it seem as if it's a phase that normally occurs to certain people, and that, just as swiftly as it begins, will eventually burn out. Do you feel that you will ever stop using marijuana completely when you "grow up"? Or do you feel that you will continue using it, just not to the same extent? OR do you plan to be a life-long toker and possibly even grower? Personally, i plan to continue using weed until the day i die- ESPECIALLY when i'm an old fart sitting around all day.

For me, I go through phases where I enjoy it and dont enjoy it. When I was a teen I smoked daily and was in love with it. As I get older my desire to smoke comes and goes in waves, and I feel that I will most likely always smoke, only, at times when I feel comfortable with it :)

I honestly can't say because I don't know. I can see myself eventually quitting or I can see myself smoking til the day I die. I'd like to start growing just enough for a personal stash sometime in the next year or so.

One thing is that I will not smoke if I'm pregnant, nor if I have more pressing matters at hand. When I have children I'd like to ease off, though not neccessarily completely. Time and circumstance will determine.

Honestly- im just gonna say it. You, Mr. Green, are an asshole. 99% of the trash that comes out of your mouth is negative. Also EVERYTHING that is EVER stated has been stated before by MANY other people. Infact, i guarantee that this thread has been posted MULTIPLE times. I also guarantee that you have nothing better to do then come in and piss on people's threads, commentary and questions. Please, get a life. Or at least stop bringing other people down.

i think im kinda growing out of it. Last time i smoked was 4/20 or maybe once after that a couple of weeks later. I just feel that i kinda shouldnt be smoking it right now or at least not spending any money on it. Although i do plan on growing if i get a house or whatever in the future.

i may stop using it recreationally at some point, but probably won't stop using it to help me sleep and/or the occasional 'high adventure in meditation' but it's not happening any time soon.

I think this is sort of just one of those things that you can't really know when your young. Like right now I don't see myself stopping smoking or tripping, but I'm sure that I will, for at least some time, eventually. Although I don't entirely think its just a phase you go through when your young.

I wouldn't say at one point I grew out of it, but I do get real tired of depending on it to function. If I didn't need it medically I would probably only smoke it once in a great while or after a hard days work to unwind.I definitly wouldn't smoke as much as I do now.

when i first smoked when i was 15, i thought it was awesome and did it cause all my friends are doing it.
when i got older, and still how i am now, i smoke just so i can relax and chill and so it can help me fall asleep sometimes
i'm not sure how its gonna affect me as an adult...

i never told myself or anybody else that i would quit,
so i probably am still going to use it when i'm older

I have no idea, but I do know it won't be anytime soon. It's something I'll just decide when I get there, but I don't think I'll ever completely quit.

Good timing. Just this morning I realized that I'm growing out of weed. But not entirely. Kind of hard to explain. I've been in this part of my life for a while, and I'll be in it for a couple more years, and I've exhausted the use of weed while in this stage. Maybe when I pass into another stage of life I'll have new views and a renewed appreciation and use for weed. But for right now I feel weed has shown me what it can, led me where it can, and if I use it any longer it will just have a negative effect on my life instead of the positive effect that it's had in the past.

I honestly believe that I will never stop smoking weed. I may smoke more/less in certain periods of my life, but it will always be there.

For me, it has come, gone, and come back. I tried it out when I was younger, got away from it for awhile, and have come back to it. If I ever stop enjoying it, I'll have no problems letting go, but I don't see it happening at this time.
